RG GP01? a must buy for me

PG Skygrasper + Aile Striker was like the most affordable PG out there

I already have the MG GP01, but althought I'm a big fan of the GP01, the PG isn't really up to my taste

Vorador's Strike Freedom is a Perfect Grade/PG kit, 1/60th scale. about double the height of most MGs.

the cheapest PG Strike Freedom I've found is about RM850, although somewhere above RM900 is quite common nowadays.





...and that's the price in hobby shops, not in shopping malls like Parkson or Jusco that will cost you double than that

mine has some problem with its huge cannon, one of the hatch that opens for landing gears have become quite loose, not staying closed when displayed in Waverider form for aerial poses. need to put in some blu-tac for that

MG Zeta Plus A1/C1 is quite tricky to pose since the articulation is quite limited, although I found mine to be slightly more back-heavy despite it's long cannon

and speaking of which, I just recently built MG RX-78-2 v1.5 too

one does not simply come to this thread and expect not to be poisoned

FYI Zeta Plus A1 is the red/white one, and Zeta Plus C1 is the grey/blue one

yeap. but current transformable MS has better build, like the MG ReZEL & MG Delta Plus. the torso is a lot sturdier and better articulation range compared to the ol' Zeta Plus MGs

depends. although I refer to the manual when it comes to appyling decals, but that's still subject to my preferences. only put on where I see fits, and trying to avoid from it to become crowded.

as for the leftovers, I just keep them just in case needed to put on kits that have very minimal decals, like this HGUC Powered GM:

I'm not sure about a pink Zeta Plus, but if you mean the MSZ-006-3 Zeta 3 "White Unicorn" then it's very, very hard to find

as far as I've been going on with this hobby, I've never seen one being sold in retail, as in being displayed in shops or something like that. most of the time I've encountered the Zeta 3 only from garage sales, hobby quitting sales, clearance sales etc.

as far as my own experience, I don't think the clear parts have any difference in terms of rigidity compared to the solid ones, so nothing to be worried about.

also, since you already mentioned that you're gonna paint your kit then the Anniversary edition sounds like a better buy. saves you a lot of time and about RM180 to fork out for a separate PG Skygrasper + Aile Striker

"normal" PG Strike (RM490) + "normal" PG Skygrasper & Aile Striker (RM185) = RM675

30th Anniversary Clear Edition PG Strike + Aile Striker + Skygrasper = RM590


since General_Nic already mentioned he's gonna repaint the kit anyway, it's pretty clear who's the winner here
