Hi all. Do you guys know how strict or heard how strict SDAC on servicing cars which the mileage is above the recommended period? Will it forfeit the free maintenance or worse, warranty? I got like 50km to hit 20,000km and my appointment is only next week.
They will give you allowance of excess 1000km. This is what they told me when I wanted to send my sister's Ford Fiesta for service.
yay! finally received the car today! so far I'm okay with the DCT (yes, even with jam) as I've been driving my friend's fiesta for some times. The Car NVH is really supreme and worth mentioning, the sound system pretty impressive as well.
One thing I notice is the front screen is reflecting the dashboard and it irritate me especially under the sun, hopefully a darker tint can help with it (yet to tint), anyone experience it and got any solution to it?
Congratz
Btw, did ur SA encounter car registration problem with JPJ?
Want to ask why there is no Malaysian version of Ford Focus Service Booklet? The Service Booklet I had shows All Ford models except Malaysia and furthermore it shows 20,000 KM or 40,000 KM? Is that normal?
Hi guys, I just wanna share my fuel consumption for Focus Sport +.
The first consumption of 7.90 liter/100km, I got when travelled from JB to USJ KL + City driving of 25% (mainly from USJ to Shah Alam and USJ to Kota Damansara, return trip).
The second consumption a bit high of 8.34 liter/100km, for travelling from KL to JB (with auto cruise on all the way) + City driving of 50% (around JB town).
It is good to note the average accumulated cost is = RM0.17/km.
P/s: The app I use is Fuel Log in Google Play Store

Depends on your budget - Raytech is well balanced but wouldn't be the best when it comes to heat rejection against 3M Crystalline - which probably has one of the best heat rejections yet. LLumar Diamond - has a solid security film and very good HR but with a similar price tag with 3M.
But most importantly, I have learnt, isn't the brands or the specs of the tint alone but the workmanship - believe me, if lint or hair gets trapped, you're gonna spend hours to get it corrected & having your door panels removed and installed (something you wouldn't like doing to your ride often).
Last week, I have installed 3M on my Focus Sport +. I'm very satisfied with the performance of the tint.
Front - Crystalline 60 Sides - Nano 40 S (security) Back - Color Stable 35.
The price is quite reasonable. I installed at Starblaze, Kota Damansara (the strand).
Yeah, it's a turn-off when you suddenly notice a dent or scratch on the metallic paint of your vehicle once you are back from shopping or at home. It is inevitable even though one is careful due to the carelessness or inconsiderate behavior of others. Mostly careless adults or small kids and teenagers.
Usually the mishap happens when you park your vehicle in parallel parking in shopping malls or open areas. Most of these parking areas are tight, and usually there aren't much space in between vehicles. Paint chips, dents or scratches mostly happen here. I am always careful when I open the door so as it won't bang the vehicle that is parked beside of mine, but others may not be so careful. The only option to minimize damage to the metallic paint of your vehicle is to park "nicely" or in a better parking spot, and keep a distance away from large trucks, lorries or busses when driving on the highways as small stones tend to fly from the wheels of these large vehicles that may eventually hit your front bumper or the windscreen.
My trick is I always try to find a parking spot at the:-
1) Corner, less 50% chance your car being bang by other car because only one side is exposed. 2) Park near to the beam/pole, so that only 1 side is exposed to another car.
Guys when I took my car, the SA adviced me to lower the tyre pressure to 200. Can I know does everyone follow the guideline given on the door or go with 200? What's the difference?
Bro, sometimes the the dealer will over inflate the car's tyre due to prolong period in the showroom.
But, in my case, the tyres were all underinflated at 25 psi, whereby it should be 31 psi.
I suggest you, to set the tyre pressure as per guideline at the door.
Thanks bro. Might check the price around KL for plastidip. powder coat is the best durability but expensive, around rm900-1k. normal spray is around rm300-500 IIRC.
In KL it is more expensive, a fellow Fb friend in our Ford Group said that in KL, he did for RM580.
I suppose mine in JB, is cheap already. Unless u can do it yourself.
Durability , i can say it's good, unless someone intentionally peel off the dip. Additionally, you can it off if u dont like the color and wanna replace with another color.
