QUOTE(gahpadu @ Mar 31 2013, 07:11 AM) QUOTE(blinky @ Mar 31 2013, 12:09 PM) whp thats the real power you get on the wheels, WHP = wheel horse power meassured by dyno.170/202 is engine power, some of the power already dissipated before it reached your wheels. Same with all cars but different transmission will have different power loss figure and dual clutch have way better power delivery from torque converter. Manual transmission have the least power loss. |

QUOTE(genie2522 @ Apr 3 2013, 09:07 AM) hai... good day all... ford focus could works as family car, just that it will be cramped on the rear seat.looking at options to replace my current car... interested to find out whether focus suits as a family car...? compared to civic and altis, kia k5 or any other make... family consist of parents and 2 kids. japanese and korea car had more spacious rear seat. why dont you bring your kids to see the car together; set the driver seat to your comfort driving position and ask them if they could accept the space left |

QUOTE(1901 @ Apr 3 2013, 07:59 PM) Booked Focus on early January supposed to be delivered on mid march, two days ago SA told me delivery will be on June total time 6 months. CRAZY PEOPLE!!!!!!!! This is madness, maybe he already filled up his sales quota for this quarter of the year so he saving your booking for the next quarter to maintain his sales figure. Maybe you should start asking other sc if they got better offer |

QUOTE(blinky @ Apr 18 2013, 10:28 AM) Hey dude, just want to ask. The DRLs you installed, do they come in just the strips of lights or does it come with the triangle black panel as well? It comes as fixed part together with the triangle, keep the original triangle and you could fit it back like it have never been modded.Does it void the warranty? It is pretty much plug n play, no wire were slit nor any screws or bolt removed. Everything could be restored back. |

Well we'll see about that when the time comes
I've asked this to my SA before, and he said he dont mind about modifying as long as nothing goes wrong. But if thing goes wrong everything needs to be revert to original condition before going to claim warranty since they will be taking pictures and stuff |

QUOTE(jwrx @ Apr 21 2013, 03:53 PM) there are still 2012 fofo available? didnt know that... which dealer? thks, i give a call. wow,2013 Golf TSI is a superb car. Brilliant media system, top notch interior fit and finish, smooth TSI engine coupled with silky smooth DSG changes. But frankly, its not worth RM35k more then a Sport+ Focus. The focus wins with much larger boot, arguably better looking, nicer selection of colours, and alot higher spec level. Im looking for a car to replace my 2009 FoFo. The cars in my test list were Subaru XV CX-5 Ford Focus Golf TSI After testing all, the 2013 Fofo is still no.1 choice, only 1 car left to test, the upcoming Ford Kuga, once thats tested it will just be a choice between Kuga or Focus im impressed, just impressed that Ford Focus could actually win against full spec Golf TSi which is worlds car of the year eventhough it is just personal opinion. not to mention ford focus in our market have been stripped off much of the spec enjoyed by other region. but i must agree rm35k does not justify all the things that golf have over focus. |

You misunderstood me bro,
Fofo is indeed well spec but compared tu our euro spec fofo, there are many that have been slashed out And you actually compared asean spec fofo against Golf which is pretty much the same spec in the europe, and still you give winning point to fofo. Im impressed and respect you for that bro Imagine if full spec fofo like those in europe offered here Adaptive headlight, adaptive cruise controll, myford touch, reverse camera This post has been edited by fact3: Apr 21 2013, 08:22 PM |

QUOTE(guilt79 @ May 1 2013, 12:33 PM) The current focus mk3 was launched in 2010, and only reach our shore in 2012, well maybe you could make your own deduction from that. Unless ford in malaysia stand as its own brand like volkswagen, the chance to see any new model reach our shore as soon as it launch is not that big. Seeing the launching of new Kuga maybe we could pray and hope. But then our supply of focus is coming from Thailand plant, so we wont be getting them until Thailand plant start producing them |

QUOTE(nick_abuya @ May 3 2013, 07:55 AM) Bro, do u know the exact address of the said workshop? Heard it is just the opposite road of Jusco Kepong, is it not? Not directly opposite, but nearby. Dont remember clearly, since traffic is damn heavy i didnt have time to look around The address is on that page, i copied and paste them in waze and ended right in front of the shop Items may not be ready stock, but if you just want to see the fitting and function maybe he can show his car; he put on everything on his fofo. Like adaptive cruise controlQUOTE(lowkl @ Jun 22 2013, 05:33 PM) Peoploids, If youre in klang valley this should be a good place, need to order first usually.Much-anticipated FoFo Titanium to touch down next week .... am seriously considering putting in DRLs... Can anyone suggest a shop that sells/installs DRLs that are: - reasonably priced - good quality - won't void our warranty when installed? TIA! The contact number and adress is exactly on the page Ford Focus mk3 accessories QUOTE(charmeleon04 @ Jun 22 2013, 09:59 PM) Hello Guys, Reliability issue you might want to ask those have driven ford for yearsI am new here. I am considering (tough to decide) whether to get ford focus or civic. Any ford focus owner from melaka? is the after sales service ok for Melaka? Mind give me recommendation or suggestion? and my bro also considering second hand ford focus. He searches through Mudah and found that the 2nd hand value for Focus was horrible (don't mind about that). The big question , is Ford focus a reliable car? Can anyone help us with it? Thanks Ford Owners Club Malaysia Might take a while to get approved |

Tint done by the SA doesnt guarantee it will be good on the workmanship. Ive seen car on the showroom side waiting for the owner to pickup with the tint already peeling off in some corner.
My SA only offer me two local unknown brand tint so i refuse it without even checking the deal. Went to tint at a shop that confessed never seen focus mk3 before, but they did a good job. |
