I was thinking of applying for new aeon credit card for free balance transfer. However, the requirement to pay additional rm1 for every payment made makes it less attractive. I may end up paying 0.6% for every rm1000 spent, equivalent to 7.2% p.a. Unless I can make more than 7.2%, else it won't be worthwhile, correct?

nowadays you can easily find a aeon credit centre. so you don't have to incur the additional rm1.

Alright. Is there any penalty for early settlement of BT?

I am just curious to know, since certain cc providers do charge for early settlement of BT. Oh ya, why would you recommend aeon watami over new aeon cc?

Hmm, New Aeon cc will be getting 2 point per RM1 spend if no mistaken. (is this mean cc point plus member card point)

As per above you mentioned, even spend on weekdays, Amex still the best compare to new Aeon cc unless there have something promotion like 10th of every month will be getting x4 point when spend at Jusco with New Aeon cc.

2 points=1x credit card + 1x aeon member point. I hv applied for the new aeon cc with rm 50 GST rebate and rm24 aeon member card fee waiver (subject to minimum of 1 swipe upon card approval). Also comes with guaranteed free mini fridge upon application which will be delivered in 2 weeks time. Not sure how true is it.. My concern is 0% BT smile.gif

yup, same as me, apply for this card only concern on 0% BT. May use it when promotion period.

But agent didn't mention about mini fridge to me, probably is different promotion. Been advice that rebate will be credit on 4 statement.

Ya correct rebate at 4th statement. I may just sell the mini fridge if I really got it haha.
