LC2K is a driving technique, to maintain consistent RPM without affecting torque out put too much, as a result to create consistent FC over the long run. Originally, this thread were banned from FC discussion, however Luke the master in FC managed to shed some light on how he achieve good FC, combined with some theory of torque output, the "double clutch" technique had become Luke Clutch 2 Kali. The best record created on BLM SE was 20km/litre. On ordinary KL traffic, Luke managed to stay around 16km/litre.
LC2K also iron out some of te myth regarding 2krpm driving style. Changing gear at 2krpm is fine, but what blows your petrol away from idling speed to 2krpm is your throttle action. LC2K has been upgraded with facts, by reading vacuum meter to understand how throttle position can lead to different FC.
1 can pedal to metal & shift up as soon as engine revving speed reached 2krpm, but that doesn't not translate into ideal FC. Gradually increase throttle action is the crucial part in helping the car to achieve better FC. Let your engine create more momentum before u go fast. Basically that's about it. If any of u keen to learn, come to TT for live action better than TCSS with keyboard.
I saw some people say for the L fear is for sport mode is it? Or just he's stupid? I tot L is 1st gear? And also what is the usage for SAT button? Save fuel? Like that why don't we just put it switched on 24/7?
Re the L gear, they are sorta right. This is a CVT, so the L gear is different than the one on a normal 4AT. It basically "shortens" the gear ratios and increases the RPM increment per throttle input compared to D, there your RPM climbs faster when you accelerate, giving you access to more torque sooner. The nett effect is quicker acceleration, most noticable when climbing hills.
CVT has not fixed gear ratio, it's ratio adjusts according to how much torque you need. The SAT mode basically turns your CVT into a 6-spd fixed gear ratio gearbox. With the right technique and circumstances, it can help you save fuel, but most of the time you're better of keeping it off.
Can't be a pessimist eh. When they wrote at the brochure 9l/100km. People have proven to be able to go beyond. Besides mine is stock car, so the golden right foot applies. Magic of cvt yet to be understood. After i reached 18km/l that day, I'm quite sure there'll be people that can surpass that value.
