QUOTE(cheekin36 @ Jul 31 2013, 01:28 PM) and one thing, steering wheel audio control i think is a most basic feature TCM also taken out. Even our local made Exora and Alza also have this option. Dunno later on can add in this feature or not? Reason why there is no audio on steering wheel because Tan Chong Subsidiary are the one installing their own Radio/Navigation system. Japan cannot because all japanese. The audio system is made by a local subsidiary owned by Tan Chong. No brand. The Free Navigation of RM3,300 is not because they give free but because the car came without the Player. You try ask whether they can exclude the free audio, my bet is they say cannot For 3,300 after market brand would be like Pioneer quality. Is Tan Chong so good with their sound system? Probably they just import a China sound system and put their name on it. Typical.. hope they buy the best quality "Chinese" brand |

Hi guys,
I was told there were two batches of Serena SH From Japan. The first batch is 500 units and the second batch is 2000 units. Would anyone believe that all 2,500 units had been taken up? and TC now thinking of whether to order more or local assemble? Dunno how true That is why people who wants order now should either wait for people to cancel or wait for following order from Japan. |

QUOTE(Frustrated Customers @ Aug 20 2013, 01:56 PM) They are getting me a new car, by exchanging it with another customer that is yet able to pick up his. Hi Frustrated customer,How? Should I accept? Don't let bad service prevent you from getting a car which fits you the most, given the price. I am also a bit frustrated with the customer service but weighing the Pros and Cons, this is still the only car which fits most of my criteria given the limited MPV choices in the market. Unless you have other options. just my 2 cents. Cheers |

QUOTE(barrywcb @ Aug 20 2013, 10:16 PM) In any industries, there is always bad apples as what JazzSerena mentioned. Barrywcb, its true, I have bought more than 5 cars in the past and almost all has some issue. None is perfect. Its not perfect because everyone has their interest. So because a sales person is screwed up, u will blame the whole org and continue to suffer.Just bring out your grievances to the right person and i believe it can be solve, very rarely it will be ignore if you think what you were doing is right. cheers mate. Even Mercedes or BMW also give problems to their customers... |

QUOTE(Antzfield @ Aug 29 2013, 09:27 PM) Thanks for the reply, Barrywcb kor!!! increase more than 6% increase, may affect ur speedometer. meter moves faster at same speed.I just can't wait for the car On the other hand, anyone change the stock tyre of 195-60-16 to 215-60-16? advisable for this size? The current size looks small so gatal to change la thats higher than the 3% offset isn't it? |

QUOTE(barrywcb @ Sep 3 2013, 11:46 PM) my extra - crystal no plate, full tank, tinted, and car carpet. thats about it. U?i hope u get better than me. Barry, your offer looks like no one can better as your free gift looks to cost RM1K.The carpet mentioned is an addition to your standard carpet? That alone probably cost about RM500. |

I heard that the free navigator already discontinued and there is no more white color as too many people ordered that color.
Many purple color so can get fast that color. |

QUOTE(wondercar @ Sep 6 2013, 03:05 PM) Hmm.. all SA earn commision from each car sales. In addition, the loan, insurance and...the best commision given is those optional accessories. Anyway, r u ordering from TC show room, or some car dealer? I booked mine a week before Raya, and gotten it 2 weeks after Raya. I booked it through a friend who is working as Honda sales... lol. Wondercar,What is the color of your car? I heard that if you book white, there is no stock. Purple is ready stock. I heard Pearl White is overbooked. |

QUOTE(perseid2013 @ Sep 11 2013, 03:03 PM) Just found out that the Serena cruise control max speed is set at 108km/h. Why is actual speed only 102?If you drive faster than 108km/h, you can't set the cruise control, regardless of whether you are in ECO mode or not. At 108km/h, the true speed is only 102km/h! I don't see any note on this in the owner's manual or find anything on this in the web. Anyone has any idea how to bypass this so call safety feature? |
