Any feedback how much has the haze season affected your solar generation rate ?

solar panel cleaning.
cable connectivity checking.
cleaning tools.

so its rm500 each year.

My usage is about rm200 every month on the dot.

investment is 22k installation everything all in. The Nem program is only 10 years after that i cant feed back into the grid.

Since most power is use at night when 2 ac is turn on 1hp and 1.5hp

Rest during the daytime are just DC fans ceiling n standing fan .

Some say bills that hit 400-600 is only worth it but salesman say 200 can save 90% and expect to pay rm10 a month.

Based on your current usage, it's not worth it for solar. As our electricity is billed on a tiered level, the higher your usage, the more expensive it becomes. And with NEM, the excess power generated is offset against the top tier and downwards. Hence, if you monthly bill is >RM600, your returns are reasonable to go with solar.

You can actually skip the yearly cleaning part, to be frank Malaysia thunderstorms are good enough to give it a good wash and on the flip side, your panels will get "dirty" again after few days post cleaning so no point.

Cables part, you can request for the expose cable to be in trunking during installation ; this will reduce the risk of damage / aging due to UV . Anyway, the solar DC cables are rated for such outdoor conditions.

Solar is pretty much a maintenance free system, until something fails (which typically will be the inverter after ~8 to 10 years).
