QUOTE(digilife @ Jan 14 2013, 07:15 PM) Anyway, i will try my best to help if anyone need the file to flash OpenWRT ~ courtesy of a good guy. I will announce it soon as i am busy with workload these few days. As long as you got OpenWRT installed, the steps for setup are usually universal.I might open a thread that can utilise USB modems on Routers not only TP Link MR3420 I am currently testing a few Routers than can be use with USB modems. Stay tuned. |

QUOTE(psjjl @ Jan 15 2013, 02:01 PM) Speed will be throttled 3 times slower after finished 30gb quota..that's what i heard from cs..so meaning that if you manage to capture 12mbps ++ right now, then the max speed that you can get is around 4mbps after that.. But their system cap you at 64kbps/128kbps which is unacceptableThis is what i understand from cs just now..i'm ok with that speed anyway.. |

QUOTE(tararan @ Jan 15 2013, 02:00 PM) bro digilife, which source you reference from that the capping is due to the backdoor deals? What happen with Maxis isFrom my understanding, the FUP has been there no matter which plan you are in. it's up to maxis to start implement it or not. Although, until today we still haven't receive any official announcement from Maxis about this change. I just wondering, if there's no backdoor deal or whatsoever, are you going to blame those who register with true company status for using up the bandwidth and cause this capping? My thought is, Maxis has handled this case with very unprofessional way, the biz plan are all messed up now. There shouldn't have any Legacy plan at all. I just share my thought for this case, don't shoot me ya. hehe. They accidentally merged all biz68 biz99 legacy unlimited and iData into a same pool They don't want to use too much work to separate 3 of them Therefore 3 of the unlimited is getting the same quota now unless their engineer work up a way to separate them Well, this is just my opinion, not official message from Maxis |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 16 2013, 12:28 PM) Just now I met a colleague in lift, he is supporting Maxis LTE and I told him my area is within coverage. I am looking forward for your LTE review He asked me where am I staying, I told him my area then he confirmed that my area is within LTE. Then he asked me did I try the LTE, I said no because my SIM card is not supported. Before the lift doors closed, he said, "Give me your profile and I'll update for you." He is coming to see me in these two days for work related, I will know further what he is going to do with my SIM Anyway I guess there will be hundreds of PM to you now |
