I trid a few types bought from hardware shop like ACE . The best is " 3 in 1" green aerosol can.
It is strong stuff and will peel yor finger skin if you don't wear glove. Instructions printed on the can.
Those claiming to be organic so on only normal soap I think.

Yes, but using chemicals, although it looks nice to strip off all the dirts and show shiny metal, it may not be good.
Chemicals may eat into the metal/fins and that's where leak occurs. Also, there is no guarantee that you wash it off with water properly, as the chemicals may flow slowly, and if not washed off, the strength of it will corrode the fins.
That's where service technicians get more business or shops get sales for new units.

I prefer to just wash with water, or some mild soapy water only (very rare).

Since installed >10 years ago, never need to call in technician or refill gas. Still cold.

i think u should be worrying cleaning the fan blade instead.

those coil/radiator u can just buy any cleaner, spray spray then use paint brush to scrub it lightly.

fan blade, FFUUUU, very very hard to take out. so best just leave it there and use vacuum cleaner and fine brush to clean it.
