QUOTE(nehalem176 @ Jan 8 2013, 11:16 PM) since you chose remove bloatware in aroma, there is font selection in bloatware to install custom font. you should select custom installation. other way, extract font.apk inside romow.zip but to be frank, im not sure where it was located. i think i will just reflash the ROM without wipe |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 9 2013, 12:07 PM) Er, wipe clean and redownload again? wipe clean and re-flashed. i keep getting the settings messed up but then i'm a happy camper now I wipe clean my phone, flashed to stock DLL7. Then use CWM to flash Romow DLL7, factory reset again, I think one of the options says that. Got everything after that. QUOTE(arslow @ Jan 9 2013, 12:09 PM) use chenglu 6.0.1.5 CWM, so far never failed on me even once!!! corrects. i itchy backside (hopefully not nfsw word) and tried the touch and twrp. both are actually less useful. backup restore also always works reliably Will only be changing recovery once 4.2 official comes out lol(will need 6.0.2.7 then prefer the normal 6.0.1.5 which is stable and reliable QUOTE(antt00 @ Jan 9 2013, 12:13 PM) I have to agree. Chenglu recovery maybe old but it never fails. I usually flash back to this recovery just before i do backup or flash new rom. best recovery ever. opposite of ROMs. ROMs improve with features, this recovery when installed with more features becomes less reliable, the last thing i want from a recovery |

wireless charging is actually much more than 1A.
a friend in singapore eng. firm has developed a Megawatt charger working up to 6 feet. but not viable in phones for sure but could be scaled down right? he said it is technically feasible but might not be financially so http://www.anymode.com/shop/goods/goods_li...category=012008 so many cases for our phone! |

QUOTE(arslow @ Jan 10 2013, 12:00 AM) 6.0.1.5 in benny888's guide i figure was using this version, which is to me at least the most stable one of them all. anyways, thanks to fruitie's misfortunes with monx and jump-ship to ROMOW, which i religiously follow, i'm now a convert! paired with P30.1 seems like a good idea although R1.01 is out, it seems that perseus has more changelog (which i'm a sucker for, the longer seems to mean the more stuff is in there, and i love more stuff) on nova launcher now with stock JB icons and such.. woohoo! happy camper! |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jan 10 2013, 08:11 AM) Hardware (ram, cpu, storage, sensors, etc) ----- Kernel (The ever so important Bridge, Drivers) ----- Software (ROM) kernel as bridge.. that's a good analogy. i believe someone posted the user -> rom -> kernel -> hardware in a nice box showing that we interact with the rom, rom speaks to the kernel, kernel mobilizes the hardware, right? |

even in deep sleep, the phone still is "awake" and not like died or something or totally switched off.
i think over night reduction of 15% without charging is acceptable to me |
