You guys keep asking how come he can work at ban leong? my ans: coz they're not any better.

This happen to me when I staying in Singapore last time. Let me share my case(skip if u lazy read):
couple of years back I bought asus 7900gt GC, at times get display errors on start up but will be fine in 24hrs. After 1-2months cannot even display windows anymore and i bring for servicing. The shop say it's the GC got manufacture prob and I send it for warranty.

For the next 3 months, I was told they need to send back taiwan factory for servicing. The following 6 months, no news at all (so total 9 months). After 3 more months the agent say he's trying to track back my GC, he also don't know where it is. Then I go holidays couple of months, I receive credit note from ban leong on my return. The shop owner say the agent told him 7950GT is out so they don't have stock to replace my GC. If I want it repaired instead of accepting the credit note, I need to pay the repair fees.

So, now you know their effeciency and attitude. Took them about 1 year to muster enough courage to tell me that my 7900 is obsolete and they dun even bother to abide by warranty. Last but not least, the credit note was sent without even trying to apologise for making me wait 1 year. I ask the shop owner what's the company supplying my asus GC and he said "Ban Leong".

Luckily I didn't trust them and bought my current gigabyte 8800GTX after the 2nd week. My personal decision was to refrain from ALL products supplied by ban leong. But unfortunately for asus, the trauma make me avoid their products too


EDIT: I just read the rangerred's topic hope he's not the agent that took care of my 7900GT I remember purchasing this GC around the time that you all say he went to singapore. My problem start around early 2007 but never met the agent in person. I believe the shop owner keep helping me ask even in my absence(which he did tell me too) coz I'm his long time customer.
