Haha, alright, cool. I was thinking of just getting the phone and signing to Maxis for a postpaid plan, but from what I've been reading on forums, once you hit your data limit, you will be charged extra for data usage instead of being throttled like Digi right? That scares me, because I do travel very frequently, and I'm worried that in case I forget and use the data while roaming, I'm gonna end up with a huge bill from Maxis. sweat.gif

What I'm planning to do is to change my current hotlink number to Digi postpaid, and just get another hotlink simcard as I know Maxis coverage is better, and so is its roaming.

Anyone else got any other suggestions?  icon_rolleyes.gif

there is no more extra charges for maxis if you subscribe 1gb data plan or above..they will only throttle down the speed...but roaming is not incl inside the data plan...even digi also the same..you have to pay for roaming fee depend on the country you are going.. smile.gif

digi throttle to a joke speed. Open lowyat site also take 30seconds.

Maxi throttle still can steam video in HD on youtube without lag.
*
true..my family also say the same thing... after maxis throttle the speed, at least still can do surfing quite smoothly.. digi even no throttle, at the area which only got E, the speed is like snail... sad.gif

i cant afford to change number, cos too many important things i associated with this number..
how much for change to microsim?

or do u buy new number?
*
maxis charged rm25 when i change mine sad.gif ...digi i heard some ppl can get it free if you first time change sim after that i heard is rm20... but since u already prepare to change a new sim, why don't cut the sim first, and if face the problem then only change? i cut mine for celcom, so far so good.. smile.gif

so trouble la like that..

actually dun mind paying rm25 for new sim, as long as it retain number and work flawlessly...
problem is, if got free time, can la go maxis..
but if go maxis, and need to wait, no stock bla bla, take hours to activate, then i will cut my sim.. haha..
*
lol..i faced no stock when asked from digi last time...then they replaced me a normal sim only..but should be activate in less than 10 minutes...mine activate immediately once they key in their computer.. rclxms.gif

i tak kena la ..not sure other ..but make sure your phone is full charged + unplug (standalone mode) ..before doing hard reset
*
soft reset = remove battery
hard reset = factory data reset /reset all settings and delete all data on the device just like when you first get your brand new 920

am i right? hmm.gif
