btw I asked my fren that work in DHL he said model car is not taxable

Wah you guys are really desperate to get the models lar. Going to the extend of paying extra when you know its not worth that much, whoa, really enthusiastic.

Anyway, I just wanna tell you all to be patient. I was in a similar situation early this year looking for Kimi's MP4-20. Went to all possible places that could possibly stock these diecast models in their inventory, each time going home disappointed. I really wanted to get one because I thought these things were limited edition sutff. After a month searching, I thought wah game over lar.

Some time later, when the Sepang F1 craze was over, I went back to a shop in BTS, where I previously saw Fisi's R25, Ruben's F2005. And hey, guess what? Schumi's F2005 was there, Kimi's MP4-20 was there. Even Fernando's R25 was there. All the hard-to-find stuff were there!

So what I'm trying to say is, these stuff are hot now, coz they're just released recently. Demand is really high as expected. When the demand starts to fade, there'll be plenty of stock. Besides, only those major supermarkets were carrying them now. Toy shops will have them in their inventory later anyway.

Btw, you can try call Malaysia's Mattel distributor if you wanna know the availability of the diecasts. At least thats what I did last time. Good luck ppl I'm gonna take my time searching

sleepy:Maybe u're right....but most importantly is go and look for it.. buy it and own it....tat's more meaningfully....bsides,at least the chances 50%-50% if u go to look for it ...
if sitting and wait till next yr (March for F1 malaysia Grand Prix),are u sure that they will sell or not?? i always dun like to disappoint myself and will try my best to get the thing i wan cos if limited.
Of course,if next yr when F1 come to malaysia and most of the shopping complex start selling,then i can get some cars ...

Mclaren: as long as it doesnt go over RM200 then its alright for me... i really hunger of this model since i saw it for the first time through the website... but if u really find it, how shall i get the model from u? the process will be kinda complex then...

sleepy: unfortunately im not from KL... so kinda impossible for me to go BTS again... as i live in KCH, a place where market demand is damn small... to get such a popular and irresistible model like the kimi's mp4-21 can be said is a chance of 1 to a million...

hmm i survey edi.... if we purchase oversea like... one F1 car cost RM 10.. the shipping fee is RM 5.......... Two car = RM 10*2+5+5 .... so bulk also exp... not cheap... argh... if oni i can contact the mattel distributor now... we can slove our prob..

do u know how much is the shipping fee from US to Malaysia? Amazon is selling at US$40 the cheapest i can find

weiheng yeah amazon is a trusted site.... but if bulk really mafan.... cause after arrive here u hav to pay another shipping fee to ur house... end up really exp.... so if u wan order ONE unit for urself... stil can consider la if u hav credit card... USD 40 is oledy exp than malaysia liau ... but if kimi car i think worth it la... shipping charge not sure

Eh guys, dont worry lar. I'll help you all look for it (and help myself in the process ). I work near KLCC. So i can always go scout for these diecasts almost everyday during lunch time Besides, I also frequent Maluri Jusco and BTS. Haha. If got stock, I'll give you guys a heads up on the same day. Cheers
