the template is not a problem... some one that is new with webdesign sure can learn alot by downloading and viewing how certain things in done in there. unless these files actually is not intended to be download and modify,,

Templates are usually done in tables n css, nothing much can be researched..... the most effective way is to find those websites with lots of effects, no matter nice or not, give a research on its source code, and try to reproduce it to make it nicer... I took this as a kind of training for two years, and then....... hehe... javascript and css have became an easy job for me...

hmm.. i use premade templates only for inspiration but the inspiration is dying slowly due to the different trend nowadays.
