QUOTE(jctasoga @ Mar 11 2013, 05:17 PM) light and co2 need to be balanced for good growth and beautiful tank. so start with a good light and tank. co2 can do DIY and later migrate to compressed co2 Totally agree! Equallogy, since you thinking of it for quite sometimes, i suggest you to go for Marcusin's tank, keep the plants and you do your own landscape, unless you have space limit, then that would be diff case |

QUOTE(ieR @ Mar 11 2013, 09:23 PM) Macrusin's setup is worth buy, it reduce the amount of "silly journey" or "wrost spend decision" that most of us noobs goes through. plug and play and it will thrive is his tank. why not? 1.6k is cheap consider the waste of money and wrong decision of us noob here easier goes way beyond that. +1 i'm in the mid of "silly journey" |

QUOTE(weijie @ Apr 3 2013, 06:11 PM) you got this absolutely correct. True that, bought tank, stands and filter in a day which dated back to last year. but till today.. i still couldn't get the right stones and driftwoods. Got to start with somethings else forever stuck in nano tanks. lolits 100times harder if you want to get a really nice looking dirftwood. Even you found one, it might cost more than what you got in wallet |

QUOTE(kurikuraX @ Apr 4 2013, 10:27 AM) Yup, mine too. How's your surface skimmer looks like? I'm have EHEIM 2213 and lily pipe, does this fits any surface skimmer? Not only need to topup water everyday (my loss is around 2-3cm per day), but it also collect dust to your water surface. Thanks to weijie for supply me with a nice surface skimmer during my initial setup. Nice pricing too (cheapest in town) |
