Finally bought some b/w miulti layer stones at Nilufar, RM6.50 per-kg. No idea where are the stones from, but i think it's local.

Don't think local shops will import any stones from overseas. laugh.gif

Thanks for raising about this issues, never thought of it when purchasing the stones since they said just wash and it will be fine.

Been digging lots info about proper stones that suitable for tanks. http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic...n-the-aquarium/ still couldnt get the source of the stones that i've purchased. rclxub.gif

some will sizzle but u can barely hear it... like my aquarium stones (those nice looking yellow tiny stones), suppose to be aquarium safe... end up its not aquarium safe coz it sizzles when i put in the vinegar... and i have like 5-6 kgs of it in my aquarium!! argh!!

no wonder why i got really hard water in the tank even though my water is soft from the tap... T_T

Bought a bottle of cap ayam vinegar, will soak the stones with it as soon as i get home.

if sizzling like a teppanyaki, not sure what i'm gonna do with it. doh.gif

My first try at Iwagumi nano tank (35cm x 25 cm x 25 cm). Appreciate comments on the aquascape. Do I need to slope the substrate to make it look better  rclxub.gif

Has anybody ever bought fish from pets lover centre in ikano? They have new batches of fry of most fish but Ive never had any experiences with them.

I'm abit skeptical because the other day I was looking for tweezers at the herp/reptile section and I saw the feeder mice eating one of their own in plain view of children. Like 5 mouse cannibalising on the corpse of a sibling, blood everywhere and stuff like that and i was like nope.

so yeah they kinda suck in their reptile section.

Or am I better off somewhere else?

Are you referring to their services or the quality of the fishes they selling there?
