The 2nd Astro box works the same like normal Astro boxes, so it should work with your condo's centralise dish. For HD box, basically just plug and play, then can watch dy.

Is there any different in 'plug and play' method, for normal decoder and PVR decoder?

It can be done, but you need to be familiar with the devices and equipment you have.

What model Astro box you want to move to 2nd hse? Is it HD box or PVR box?

Does your new hse has satellite dish installed? Is it 1 cable or 2 cables from your dish?

If you're a handy person and you know how to install satellite dish, you can actually set it up by yourself without depending on installers.

Want to remove PVR box. 2 cables from the dish.

New location:
Centralised dish.

Is it just plug and play?
Or need to call for assistance?

Please advise. Thank you.

What I have done so far is connected to either one of the satellite port and managed to get the signal for the port. When trying to view the channel, this small yellow icon appeared on the screen corner. So I assuming it related to a signal problem where both satellite port is needed to receive the signal.

I'm not sure whether the condo is using 1 or 2 satellite ports, will try as suggested and revert back the results.

Does the IPTV service need to be set up for me to use them in the condo? Because when I checked my Maxis router, the IPTV service is down as it was not been set up, since I only subscribed to Internet service. Please advise.

Eggy, please helpe understand your issue.

Your condo has 2 ports for centralised dish, and
Your PVR has 2 cables.

Right?

Am wondering what if
My condo has only 1 port for centralised dish, while
My PVR has 2 cables.

Please advise. Thank you

Guys, please help me out.

Try putting the coax cable inside my condo satellite port, the decoder is working, but 'This channel is not available' when I pressed 101.

Please help :-(
