Bro, you cannot assume that one rule will fit all.....
It just never works out like this in the stock market.

You do know that not all highs are dangerous.
For example, Inari used to be how much?
30 sen? 40 sen?
Now how much?
A lot of highs have been made along the way when Inari moved from 40 sen to where it is now.
Chasing its highs wasn't risky, not for a stock like Inari.
In fact it was rewarding.

Conclusion: when you buy right, buy high, it doesn't necessary means you will sell low.

Master like Tan Teng Boo of iCap call bagus stock... Parkson.
Used to be around 5 or 6 bucks stock.

What is low today could be lower in a few months time.

Conclusion?
Never assume anything in the share market. 
Every so called strategy has it risks and it is very risky if one use a strategy without knowing how and when the strategy could fail.
My long 3 sen opinion this morning.

My point is you have to be careful when a stock consolidates.
Not all consolidations are buy points.

I have seen one time too many that the bottom can fall off during 'consolidations.'
