no catalyst to go further mah... price at RM4+ is pricey (don't mean the value but more of having to invest big sum to earn back). so price has to travel much much further before can make 'nicer' profit. but TA wise looks good loh. glad to find another one

The catalyst wasn't 'there' but remember this stock got your attention 'due' to the chart.
Remember when you posted about it, it was already noted the 'past 2 days trading were encouraging'... ie there was some momentum seen in the chart.
Breaking 440 is like 'confirmation' that the market/'strong hand' wanted to drive the stock higher.
For example only, you could have used 440 as your entry and 4.30 as your exit.

I know this would have been a pure 'chart' driven trade.
Sometimes, it has its risks.

Who knows, you might be good in spotting such trades.

After the euphoria comes the.....

Now hardly got any counters to buy.. all trading at high valuations...

Margin debt (US) is at all time high....

Small cap stocks is being pushed up....

Index gaining on PE expansion....

Market average dividend yield all time low...

Easy money for everyone....

Insas is an very interesting animal.

In fact, that the fact it moved so strongly, I am guessing that it has left many people cursing deep down inside.
Why?
Insas has always been considered a candidate for 'value' investing based on yardsticks like NTA.

If I remember correctly, it was about 50 sen early last year.
NTA was about 1.40+ (if not mistaken)
Many bet on it.
Stock never moved.
Lagi teruk, it slowly fell to 40 sen +.
In fact, I think it fell below 40 sen too a couple of times.
It was a lousy stock.

Chart...



Stock movement this year was more positive...
Better movements but the corrections was just as pronounced.

But if you look at the bigger picture, you cannot DISCOUNT the Inari factor.

Insas, if not mistaken, owns close to 36% share of Inari.
Inari a year ago traded as low as 32 sen.
Inari, in Aug was trading as low as 71.5 sen.
Inari closed Oct trading at 1.36

In Aug, Insas, NTA was already 1.54.

No matter how you look at it, Inari's stake in Inari.... has gotten
Which means the value of Insas has increased ......

Again, one can easily push Insas as a value play.
And then you have the Edge adding oil by suggesting the m&a plays...
And then TA shares are hot hot (helped by lou sai buying news source ) ....

Is this why Insas was push and pump and pump so hard yesterday?
