Price surge up and volume lower decreasing, not a good sign

TSH Sold their stake in Pontian for consideration of RM195.8mil, making a gain of RM85.3mil

Profit RM82.9mil, if take the out the gain as mention above, it would in loss
Cash flow from operation decreasing compare to previous 2 quarter
Total debts close to RM1bil, 30% of the debts is in USD, disposal of Pontian will lower down its gearing by 20%+-
FFB production increase by 30%+, a good sign

U look at the chart, i think it does giving the answer u want

I know life, sometimes, is not fair but life should not be sad.
At least, we should try not to let it be sad....

In that sense, why not try cut loss in bad positions earlier?
We made the mistake and time to move on.

If not, we could end up in a strategy...
where we win small, small...
and the moment we are in a losing position...
we hold the losers long....

and sometimes, since life not fair all the time, losers do become bigger losers...
money is tied down...
we not only see losers get bigger and we see us missing out on better opportunities...
then we feel more sad.....

We need to stay happy...

For them fundie stock...
one needs to cut loss...

Carlsberg high was 17+ recently...
Ok, imagine if one chased half half..
waited for it to correct...
and then assume it's cheap..
cos corrected .... say 1.50...
And bought at 15.50....

Look at it now....
Even if you add in next years divy assumption of 60 sen...
One would still be in a terrible losing positon...

And meanwhile... carlsber not gonna sit still...
it could still go down somemore....

Things that one could learn from Carlsberg downhill roller....

1. Even for fundie stocks, one do need a cut loss plan. Why? You could buy a 'right' stock at a 'terribly wrong' price.
2. Big names does not equate to great investment/trading.
3. Valuation matters. Was it cheap? What was the potential dividend yield?

how do i sell them since jupiter platform doesnt let me key in less than 1 lot (100 units) for a transaction?

Under Kenanga platform (last time, the software, ie ECM Money (now transferred to KenMoney) and Jupiter exacty same). on sell button itself, is there an arrow pointing down?

If there is, click on the arrow itself (ie the right part of the sell button), there is an option to sell odd lots.

If no see, call remiser and ask them to do it for you.

scenario 2 - didn't sell and share price keeps dropping and profit along with it
