Hi sifus.
I'm a new user of this interesting router. (MR3420 v2 + E398)
So, I need help from sifus here. notworthy.gif
Is it normal after I flashed to latest Huntsman, my router will only got 27% space left?
[attachmentid=3486364]

And using openWRT, I need to wait about 1 minute + before internet connection available.
Are this also normal?
And FYI, I already applied all tricks stated on the 1st page.

TQ

Hi.
I'm using latest Huntsman and noticed that under Software, free space reduced from time to time without changing any setting.

What's the problem?

is it a significant amount of space? It might be the Bandwidth Monitoring feature where it logs the usage. However, it shouldn't take up a lot of space. Perhaps others can shed some light on this.

Previously about 104 kb (27%) left but just now I checked, it's become 88 kb (23%).
In just less that 24 hour.

Something wrong with it?

Interesting.

As far as I know Dairyman has removed anything that writes to flash ram to eliminate stressing the RAM.

It should be storing most things in the router memory (32Mb).

This may be normal operation. I''l bring it up in the Whirlpool thread for comment.

Cheers

still going strong for 8 days without any DC or hiccup,.

stockfirmware is the best for me for sure biggrin.gif

If I'm on ROOter, and try to revert back to stock, so what I need to do is just flashed back firmware from TP-Link website isn't it?

Other setting that I need to do to get stable connection just like yours?

mine dont have special setting,

just a usual wifi setting, web interface setting,.. the rest i leave it default,..

yeah just choose the firmware from tplink websites,

and just remember to untick keep setting and proceed to flash with LAN CABLE only,..

u can try these few solution :

1) try to update your firmware to latest

2) try to add E398 bin file into modem setting

if still cannot works, then is bug, original stock firmware have this signal bug,

so just flash to Rooter openwrt firmware -> http://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/downloads.html

if after u did all that still 0% signal, then it is a bug,. stock firmware buggy sometimes due to the support is not really up to date with newer 4G LTE modem  notworthy.gif

Yup, still 0% signal showed.
Anyway, TQ boss. thumbup.gif
