u should try the latest huntsman 4-23 instead of 4-19 for mr3420 V2

yea personally i love that modern interface but too bad dont have any firmware for my mr3040V1 yet,.. so need to be extra patience 

Do any of u guys notice the wifi is limited to 72.2mbps only.. 20mhz stream.. i cant seem to bump it to 40mhz..

my mobile device also 65Mbps Max while my acer laptop is 300Mbps,.. 

yea happen to me too, after i adjust to wireless G and auto in channel , my mobile device is fine,. 

yeah the older huntsman 4-19 have very hard time to reconnect after it disconnected. And hopefully this 4-30 huntsman fixed this issue, and the auto detect wrong port of communication issue too. Will try it later on. Have you try? How's it perform for you?

i think the issue of auto detecting the right communication port is still bug. And very sure you'll need to manually decrease or increase it. That's why i am stick to openwrt altitude adjustment . Manually setup the 3g-wan. At least i know it would auto reconnect once it disconnected though.

I see that many of you have a wrong impression about ROOter firmwares (namely Redback, BlackWidow and Huntsman) although Dairyman and Waroonga Farm have mentioned before. Note that it's a customized version of OpenWRT which optimize for 3G/4G usage. The only configuration you need to worry about for making 3G/4G connection is at the Modem tab (APN name, Username, Password, SIM PIN, Keep Connection Alive, DNS servers). You don't need to mess with the configurations in the Network tab 'cause whatever you do over there will be overwritten by a scheduled task.

And the Network Status at the Modem tab it's just informational, it doesn't affect your connection at all.

unfortunately, there is a bug in 04-30 version where the Keep Connection Alive script is pointing to a private IP address to check the WAN connection. If you've set "Enabled with Restart", it will continue to reboot every time the scheduled task run due to the private IP address is unreachable.

Here's a quick workaround until the bug has been rectified in the next release:
- Change the settings for Keep Connection Alive in Modem tab to Enabled or Disabled
- Add the this command without the double quotes in Scheduled Tasks under System tab. "*/5 * * * * /bin/ping -c 10 openwrt.org || reboot"
