managed to get it to work. i did not factory reset after flashing.

under script version, under modem. it shows somewhere in february. after resetting, it shows black window apr.

anyways, got new error. i have followed everything that need to be modified but the settings wont stick.

after rebooting, it revert to Protocol - DHCP client. i am able to surf using that.

using the recommended settings and after save/apply, im not able to surf. after rebooting, same thing.

i have to turn the router off/on and then able to surf but using the DHCP client protocol

help please

getting too frustrated with this smile.gif

what did the last thing u did before the router blink led ?  hmm.gif

i was trying to flash stock firmware via putty following the instructions on openwrt wiki.

flash failed though something about something cannot be erased.

then i surf as per normal, when suddenly router cut off, with the leds blinking.

if u refer to the dairyman canada guide in that websites,

do a reset,..  there is a 30/30/30 reset  notworthy.gif

use something which u can poke the reset hole, hold it with power on for 30 second,

continue to hold it for another 30 second with power off

then continue still holding it for another 30 second with power on,..

then let it go and reboot the router,.. see whether it work  hmm.gif

i refer to the small hole beside the right hand side external antenna, not the reset button at left hand side though  sweat.gif

refer to the red highlight, not the black highlight

black highlight is the power button

red highlight is the reset button smile.gif

I believe you've bricked it. See this post:
If this is the case, then you may need a serial console cable to debrick it (if the uboot partition is still working).

Else, you may need to send back to manufacturer (for warranty), asking them to flash for u. Or asking around if anybody have a flash programmer to flash the chip with a working firmware.
