also MYR vs USD is weak lately, definitely affect brands when they set the price. Just bad timing for Malaysian when Haswell is coming up sweat.gif

medium setting is ok la... not high setting, and normally these processor integrated graphic... so newer processor is better a.k.a Haswell 4th Gen Intel Core i5-4XXXU (Intel HD Graphics 5000) > Ivy Bridge 3rd-Gen Intel Core i5-3XXXU (Intel HD Graphics 4000) > Sandy Bridge 2nd-Gen Intel Core i5-2XXXU (Intel HD Graphics 3000) etc...

if got discrete graphic the effects of processor is lower lo

Gaming performance depends on GPU more. Unless if you are talking about intense RTS games, or games optimized specifically for CPU (but those are mostly for quad cores) hmm.gif

on G505s with A6-5350M + HD8570M
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Lenovo...ok.99459.0.html

on performance of A4-5000, maybe can look at this:
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Toshib...ok.97804.0.html

G400s, Pentium 2020 + Intel HD@RM1349, 4GB, 500GB, W8
G405s, A4-5000 + AMD HD@RM1099, 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS
I think we can safely say the G405s will run longer than G400s, but is less powerful.

Finally, 37W i5-4200M Haswell proc start poping out. If Y510p with i5-4200M can reach MY, then might get around RM2599. tongue.gif
