QUOTE(phantomash @ Jan 7 2013, 10:39 AM) RRP is always higher than the market price from dealers. Ap price will drop. Then Ori price will follow. After CNY it will probably drop a few hundred. Maybe in 5-6 months time Nexus 4 can hit the Play Store price. And then we'll get hyped up for the next Nexus, or X phone from motorola |

Too bad... Not Galaxy Nexus. Look at the power consumption difference and the result. |

Nvm... Forget about it.
Really looking forward for that opencl thingy. Sounds promising!!! Btw, kindle HD uses same chipset and they did it on that. Means it's also possible for Galaxy Nexus. But I believe it's hard to get it done because it requires support from Imagination Technologies This post has been edited by IwanAGP: Jan 7 2013, 12:56 PM |

Something I mentioned before. Coming true! QUOTE This means that users won’t need to worry about having a device with an old built-in graphics unit anymore since it won’t be doing the dirty work of having to render high-quality video— the cores on the NVIDIA Grid servers will do all the dirty work for you. |

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Jan 7 2013, 04:41 PM) That 'Project Shield' console has hdmi out. Not sure about future possibilities. Most of the new chipset support USB 3.0. Just not sure when are they going to implement it. Anyway, USB3.0 port is almost like the size of a proprietary port like those on iPad/Galaxy Tab. Not so nice looking and small enough for mobile device. Wonder what can they do? Pushing 4k resolution requires a huge bandwidth. Let's see where technology leads us to |
