Hi all!

Today is my 7th day using iPhone 5 with iValue1 and this is my first time using postpaid. I have paid RM500 for the advance payment.

Just now I installed the myMaxis app and I have found that my unbilled amount is RM41.68. My bill cycle is on the 28th every month.

I learn that I will get the RM100/monthly for 5 months as for the advance payment rebate.

So my question is:

What is that RM41.68?

Do I need to control the unbilled amount in certain amount so that I will get the RM100/month rebate?

Thank you.

unbilled amount is the rough total of your sms and calls and mms. even though you are still within the range of free calls/sms they will also include in the unbilled amount. refer to the website for detailed and exact bill

I see. Can I have the website URL?

Guys, i just wanna clarify and confirm with you all that the 333 minutes call to others in iValue 1 iPhone 5 package is RESERVED for call to other operators , which means if you call Maxis, it will auto use up the 1000 minutes first and won't touch your 333 mins unless you have finished the 1000 minutes Maxis to Maxis call time smile.gif

Hope this helps you all smile.gif I confirmed this by looking at my last month bill as well as called Maxis hotline 123 & Use Maxis chat online to double confirm smile.gif

p/s because i was wrongly told by the dealer, i only used 3 mins out of 333 mins in last month  vmad.gif Wasted doh.gif

Copied from the Maxis live chat conversation between me and a Maxis operator.

[09:48:55 PM] Maxis: As per checking, the allocation will be minus from the 1000 minutes maxis to maxis first.
[09:49:15 PM] Me: I see
[09:49:32 PM] Me: That means, the 333 mins is reserved for non maxis numbers?
[09:50:07 PM] Maxis: Not really. i depends on your usage.
[09:50:17 PM] Maxis: *it
[09:50:25 PM] Me: How is that?
[09:51:09 PM] Maxis: Okay, when you use the phone for calls regardless to any number you will be charges at first.
[09:52:00 PM] Maxis: When we do the update on your account, we will rebate back the usage according to the entitlement.
[09:53:08 PM] Maxis: However, we will absorb the maxis call under the 1000 minutes first for maxis number and follow by the 333 minutes.

So, in the end, If we never reach 1000 mins Maxis to Maxis phone call, it indirectly means the 333 mins is allocated to Maxis-All Operators only right?
*
Yes. If you have used 1200 mins Maxis to Maxis, that means your balance for Maxis to All Operators is left 133 mins.

Guys, did you all receive SMS from Maxis saying that you are subscribed to Free 300MB package from Pakej Komunikasi Belia ?

I subscribed to iValue 1 plan using the RM200 rebate. I thought that 300mb free is for prepaid user only ? hmm.gif
*
Yes. I also kena this. I have finished the 300mb quota but when I check my quota balance, it says I am still subscribed to this free 300mb. Bugs oh?

Did u experience slow speed after exceed that usage? And is your 2gb data being deducted when u use Internet?
*
Nope. Therefore I just realize that now my active data is back to iValue1. Need to reply 01 and the details for iValue1 quota is in the next page. Haha. Maxis should remove the free 300mb details bah.

Guys, I don't quite understand what the last message means. If I buy the pass now, means that my default 1GB quota will be increase to 2GB for just RM5? And then why there's a time limit? FYI, iValue Simple user here.
*
Normally, the 2GB quota will replace the 1GB until the 2GB quota is finished/expired then you will go back to the 1GB. But this one is a special case because the 2GB is only effective from 2am - 7am daily. If you really want this offer, then try to ask the Maxis Customer Support for more detailed explanation. icon_rolleyes.gif

bros, if maxis give replacement set, is it new or refurbished?
*
Maxis staff told me that they will give us new set but some of our forumers here have received refurbished set. If you're lucky you might be getting a new set for replacement. :|

Doesn't matter la even if it is refurbished, as long it looks brand new, feels brand new and it works.

Even if it is refurbished how old can the phone be. Even the oldest iPhone 5 in the market in the world is not even 9 months old what more a Malaysian set.

Its not like iPhone 5 has been in the market for 2 - 3 years.

If it really matters to you then just get a third party to repair your existing phone. Minor parts or problems can be replaced or fixed at a very cheap price. One or two of forummers on here offer really good iPhone repair services which I myself can vouch for.

Otherwise just live with it.

True that. Honestly I don't care if I get refurbished set, but the "satisfaction feelings" if I get a new set, it's never been better.
