Why not those who used the brand before states his/her final conclusion about it?

As for me, an Acer user (TravelMate 800 and TravelMate 8000 series), I am happy about it. Been using it quite a while now and still goin on. Good performance and cheap for the specs in it. The only down side of it are design factor as well as the quality of the casing. That's all. I haven't use their after sales sevice berfore and hopefully I don't have too at all!!

well, if that's the case, get famous brands. no use of saving your pocket having no international warranty at all.

it's the brand which doubles its price up. i used to remember when i bought my acer last time, the price of my acer cost about RM7,000 while a fujitsu laptop with the same specs cost about RM14,000 (furthermore, acer have slightly better specs than fujitsu)
