Agreed to buy the phone. After some negotiation, proceed to asking his account's number. He said if I need him to post before 4:00 PM, I need to deposit the money (Amount: RM320) fast.

Deposited the money on 3:35 PM. Told him the money has been deposited by SMS.

5:00 PM. No status from the seller. SMS him about the merchandise. He told me that the post office is too busy thus he went back to work. I said it's okay but I need the item by today (Friday, 04/01/2013) so I asked him to return the money to me. He said he will do it after 9:00 PM.

After 9:00 PM, no status. He SMS me and said that he used some of the money so he can't return the money to me. But he promise that tomorrow morning someone will buy the phone from him through COD. I still have trust so I said I want the money by 11:00 AM.

SMS him after 11:00 AM and he said he's currently waiting for the person who want to COD.

It's nearly 1 o'clock. Proceed to SMS him again. He said the phone is still with him and he will deposit RM250 first. I thought, it's better than nothing.

2:30 PM, no news from him whether about the full payment or the RM250. Give him my last SMS asking to deposit the money by 4 or I will take action. No reply after that.

5:00 PM. Proceed to police station and lodged a report.

I said in my SMS that I don't want to panjang cerita so this is my action. I have been cheated before and I'm too tired to replay the old song again (asking everyday about it). Is it too hard to go to a nearest Maybank in Seremban and deposit the money back? Or is it that you live in a sewer or something that prevent you from going out? When you promise before 4, send it before 4. And I don't see the relevant of busy post office and sending a parcel as to send a parcel does not need you to take turn number. And who the hell use the money before the merchandise been send?

Did he mentioned anything bout the phone coz someguy stated there something fishy about this person.. and he stated there he already sold the phone?

That's the mistake from my part. I never pays any attention to this forum section and my experience with LYN seller was good till now. Lesson learnt. Again.

After I bank in the money, I ask him if all the stories about him is true and he reply if I don't trust him he will return the money at once. Heh.

Lodged a police report after finding 2 old thread about him and a guy that was recently ffk by him. And I noticed that guy post on his thread AFTER I bank in the money. That's why I ask him myself about that and he denied it.

If i were u, before proceed any deal, i will check his background and check the blacklist acc here in tradezone and dispute resolution corner.

This should be your lesson so in future u will be more careful.

Nevertheless, congratz for report it to the police right away, many of other victims failed to do so.

pos laju send parcel no need to take number? anyone can clarify?

don't know about anyone else but I never take number when sending anything at post office and there's 1 time I take a number and the clerk said no need.

in my place no matter post parcel or send document need to take number, gonna ask the officer apa macam regulation.
maybe your post office too few people going so dont need to take number.
