Keep 2 sets of revo and 1 set of daiwa Luna 203
Bro Vince,
Go find a Garmin echo 100. Far better than this and much better details. No point for a sounder that can only hit 30m and such small transducer will not produce good details

QUOTE(acheong7 @ Mar 16 2013, 12:18 AM) great news, rory, thank you. Bro Acheong, fishfinders, depth sounders, etc best invest in the slightly higher end if one is fishing often enough including out at sea metal transducers serve better get those with dual frequency, more versatile, more detail monochrome is ok but colour has more differentiation you'll also pay for features such as GPS, waypoint markers, weather proof, antiglare screen, mapping your own water routes etc The new Garmin fishfinder is not ex. Somewhere RM350 nia.. Those with GPS and sea chart maps are more ex, somewhere around RM2000 BTW, i work for Garmin ler |

Custom naked rod
8-17lb rating. Slightly faster taper 6feet 6 inch 1. Michael Luay 2. Viox 3. Acheong - Spinning 4. Acheong 5. daddyvw 6. WetWetWater 7. Hamstrex - Spinning 8. Inv - Spinning 9. Fookie - Spinning Hitting 8 confirmed orders, i could start ordering parts already. GREAT!! Once i manage to find a proper blanks, i'll grab like 10pcs at a go. Hopefully can minimise the costing and discount My estimated costing Rod blank 135 Reel seat 55 EVA 30-35(Eva alone is at rm30+- and the rm5 is spared for sand paper) Threading Rm30 for both black and metallic red Epoxy +-rm50 as I bought in 150ml also incl of the rapid setting epoxy at 12. The epoxy estimated for 3rods reel seat and Eva gluing At this point, the cost is at approx rm305 liao The only pending one is the guides. My comment as its more towards 8-17lb rods, need not extremely grade A guides like SiC which will add in another rm150. Some Taiwan SiC guides will suffice. Bro Acheong,
The binding part will be black with thinly rounds of metallic red. I'm sourcing for option with SiC guides all over(not just tip) with reasonable pricing. Don't want to use the common ceramic guides where the framework of the guide tends to rust after a while. More worthwhile using a better guides but not the ultimately bestest guides(due to costing factor) Fellow angler for the custom rods, I will be asking for deposit beginning next month. Hopefully to facilitate the build of the rods. It's not money making projects thus do buy me some time to complete these rods but I will not be taking forever to complete them. Expected 2-3 months time for the total completion, trying to do it within 2 months time. Thank you for the leniency understanding |

Wahhahaha!!!
Spiral so many takers!! I'll make according to spiral then. As for hook keeper, a single u shaped hook keeper is estimated at almost rm10 each ler. Can I suggest to hook keep at the guides footing? Alternatively, can individual add a Fuji hook keeper too Please comment |

Not as far as i know off, unless you are going with class A,B,C and D commercial fishing. Then there's some requirement you need to go for. Our marine rulings are not fully complied to. Some does registered, many does not |

Ahh...
If you dont intend to mount in thruster or little outboard, you can consider Coleman Colossus. Can also fit 4 pax(recommend for 2 anglers only) and paddle lor... Me and Bro Chun used to have |

What type of house are you staying?
Grounded or multifloor? If grounded, perhaps consider kayak or car topper. It's approximately the same price too... |
