for science stream: bio, math T, pa, phy, chem
for art stream: perakaunan, math S, kesusasteraan melayu, ekonomi, sej, pp, pa, geo, b.melayu
for optional subjects: b.cina, b.tamil, b.arab, syariah, seni visual, further math, literature in english, computing, usuluddin

i'm not sure the infos up there are 100% true or not lah but all the subjects above are guarantee got in STPM cuz i copy them from the jadual waktu rolleyes.gif

there only got 2 kinds of maths which are math T and math S
math S is more easier to study than math T loh..... smile.gif
so math S is for art stream while math T is for science stream sweat.gif

depends ur school de actually
some does offer bio and physic
mostly offer either bio or physic
cos if offer both then the time schedule is very packed and needs to be extended
and it's not a good bet as taking both subjects will make ur life very stressed

ya .. it's not neccessary ..

btw if ur school don allow you take both physic and bio ..
then the only way is to study one on your own then ..
which is a risky move ..
i got 1 fren (she got 4.00 in STPM btw)
she once take both physic n bio ..
although i and herself think she can get A for both in the 2nd semester she giv up physic to concentrate on bio instead
ain't worth the risk she said

You can take more than the required subjects but you have to take it at your own risk. Usually if you didn't do well in your SPM, of course you are not recommended to take more than the required subjects!

Either way, it wont do much.
CGPA is calculated with PA+3 best subjects.
Best to take only 4 subjects if possible. More subjects only bring trouble.

BTW, remember that commerce subjects will not be used for calculation if you plan to enroll into a science course in local U and vice versa.

no .. they can't stop you from taking more subjects ..
just that they aren't gonna teach you tat subjects and you have to cope with it your own ..
either you self study or tuition outside

they don't have the mean to stop you from taking more subjects ..

its because not many schools have classes for all 5 subjects
normally there wont be enough students for that class, so they just cancel it (like my school this year)

you still can register for all the subjects, but you'll have to study 1 of them on your own as you'll be entered in a 4 subject class

IMO, only take more than 4 subjects if :
you're not sure what you'd wanna go into, so there's a wider choice after STPM
you're confident in scoring excellent, so why not add another A there to impress ppl? rclxms.gif
