So far overseas pricing is not cheap
Germany/Italy Euro650 (RM 2614), UK £530 ( RM 2543) Msian pricing usually 10% lower than Uk so expect around RM 2200-2300 |

I don't mind paying rm2.2k for it as price range similar to note2. My last Sony was Xperia Arc , a big dissapointment. Even HTC Incredible S floors it in most dept. Hope this Z model will be much better n it seems so based on all reviews to date

QUOTE(alfredtwl @ Jan 23 2013, 09:23 AM) uncle benny, i knew you got experience order from clove Mine was delivered directly to me - not even open by customsBut some users in Galaxy S2 thread kena custom open Depend on luck DHL I was told you need to pay them service fee about RM 200+ . Not worth it. If is posted out using non DHL, it will be landed at Poslaju and Poslaju can help you settle for only RM 49+ Anyway this is the procedure ( personal experience) Go to nearest Sirim center with DHL arrival notice, your purchase PO ( or email confirmation of purchase), printout of phone specs ( from web will do) , fill up 2 forms and pay RM 100 . RM 100 can allow import of up to 3 phones. You will get the Sirim permit within an hour Send this permit back to DHL and they will clear out phone for you This post has been edited by benny888: Jan 23 2013, 11:07 AM |

QUOTE(Sons of Winter @ Jan 24 2013, 08:39 AM) ya i know.. cos both phoe also able to do the mobile version not only iphone. SO just woder what iphone haf the feature that make it easier to browse this forum. Cos one of the main factors is screen size when browsing ma. so iphone suppose to lose He is comparing with his Xperia Arc which smoothness definitely loses out to iphone 5. I have used the Arc before and I ranked it the second worst Android phone I have used after Galaxy SHowever iphone 5 cannot match Note 2 and Nexus 4 browsing smoothness and I believed the Xperia Z will trounced it too with its better software/OS besides its bigger display |

QUOTE(alfredtwl @ Jan 25 2013, 10:20 AM) I thought you have already placed order with Clove UK ? Their ETA is 1 March . Attractive option is their free wireless speaker worth about RM 315Price wise inclusive courier should be around RM 2.3K and add in at worst another RM 100 for Sirim permit if holdup at customs Ordering from Clove UK you can cancell anytime if you find their actual date is later than stated. Clove will always email you to reconfirm it and they will continually update you the delivery status. Your credit card will not be charge until you confirm acceptance the delivery date |

QUOTE(alfredtwl @ Jan 25 2013, 10:46 AM) i just add to basket. There is absolutely NO duties/tax on mobile phones. If custom want to charge you ask them proof to you from their custom taxbook. Any extra money you want to pay is from courier themselves besides the Sirim permit RM 100The last time I brought in my Nexus 7 ( wifi only) the customs wants me to pay 10% tax and they proof to me this tax is applicable showing me the taxbook guideline . Same time I ask them about mobile phones and they is no such tax or duty except Sirim permit RM 100 |

QUOTE(alfredtwl @ Jan 25 2013, 11:30 AM) DHL courier charges is already included in Clove ex retail price. You need not pay a single sen moreYour additional costs will be your transport/inconvenience costs + RM 100 going to Sirim to apply for the permit Or just pay about RM200+ to DHL to do these on your behalf !! |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jan 25 2013, 11:35 AM) Haizz!!! If Sony still superb slow like turtle, Sony sure regret! once S IV announcing, I am sure Sony will lost the customer. Galaxy S4 all still rumours, nothing concrete. I dont think it will even come out for sale in April !!Thing is hot when it still fresh, if too delay, thing will cool, once cool it not longer fresh and hot. |
