Definitely ZL hehe. Dont need whatever proofing as all those flaps are annoying lol, and matte back much nicer than glass back imo. Bezel also barely there which makes the phone even smaller than s3!!2MP vs 2.2MP front facing camera is not really a strong point to argue about lol. But this is me la, others might like Z if they want the IP57 rating

I hope the tym takes by sony to released the phone will be well utilized. I hope they found any kind of bugs or problems with the phone. I dunwan xperia z to experience that weird sleep of death bugs that were hitting xperia v currently.

the only way to capture the market is to launch earlier so that those who are waiting will not wait
it is the same strategy adopted by Samsung to convert those iphone users
and with Samsung's aggressive the similar phone will lose out.
and bear in mind that Samsung's spec is never a slouch too

their product is not superb, but usually top notch during their launch. this undeniable apart from the plasticky design
and last year, they managed to launch s3 in Msia within a month after announcement

agreed on the TW launcher on S3.... it sucks in terms of smoothness.... its so bad that it will kill the home launcher when mem is low
but apart from that, the camera. the batt. and it was the fastest proc untill S4 pro got released

anyway, i think other players have catched up including Sony.... a good thing for us consumer

My personal opinion , I prefer 1st HTC Products, 2nd Sony and 3rd Samsung..
I been using HTC products since year 2009, my first HTC Sensation and Now HTC ONE X, even tho I also using S3 which not that smooth as HTC ( my own opinion). Just waiting for Xperia Z /ZL to see how its performing when it out in Market..

I beg to differ. The HTC One X apps drawer is jerky not smooth at all vs Samsung S3/Note 2 apps drawer. HTC sense homescreen UI is slight  smoother than Samsung Touch Wiz. HOX+ similarly too though the jerkyness is improved in the apps drawer
I don't like HTC Sense, Samsung TW UI, Xperia Arc UI too and always replace all of it with Nova

there is no rom as good as pure vanilla android   
but would love some cherry pick from other rom like smart rotation, bravia engine and etc
but its impossible

yes, shatterproof sheet 2 protect the glass from shattering
but the sheet is not scratch resistance, only the glass beneath is scratch resistance
if the sheet is scratched just remove it

i think the video is a bit bias, bcauz they didn't test on the screen after removing the sheet
thn furthermore didn't mention anything about oleophobic coating wear out
n set the brightness too low just to purposely show the reflection of finger print

bcauz on my xperia if the brightness is being set at 30% u can't see any finger print reflection
unless u turn off the screen
