Hi there,

Just bought myself an ac68u and would like to use all the four ports at the back for normal LAN connection. I couldn't find the VLAN configuration in this router and the nearest configuration screen that I could find is in the IPTV tab. Currently I'm using MAXIS-Fiber as my ISP profile. What do I need to do to make the all four ports available? Should I select manual and using 621 for the port 3 & 4?

Hi wiraone,

If you want to use all the LAN port, at the LAN->IPTV->Select ISP Profile choose "Manual".

At the LAN port 3, delete the available value and put 0.

Thank you

If you are talking about mesh node speed, XD5 will give you around 250-300Mbps when connected on the node.

XT8 will give you around 500-600Mbps on the mesh node.

The performance of XT8 is around double of XD5, hence the price is around double too.

ASUS is quite fair at pricing laugh.gif

Wondering why Asus Malaysia doesn't bring in XT9, I was trying to decide on Asus and Deco and google keeps comparing XT9 and Deco X95. It seems it is due to the chipset I guess.

Received my XT8 today, going to have fun with it tonight. I downloaded the Asus Router app from Apple Store but it doesn’t list out XT8 there. Should I use XT9 for configuration?

I am getting error trying to configure using ios app asus router. It gave 'This network is not supported... ' when I scan the barcode.

Update: Using Android phone now and I could go and set it up. ios app is hopeless since there is no option for XT8 mad.gif

I am currently using openwrt router, running on nanopi r4s. I had deco m9 before and it doesn't have many features. I believe xt8 has more features that I should run it as router setup rather than AP? I saw that it has features to do ad blocking using adguard. Anyone has using these features before?

Just use web UI, more functionality provided. Works regardless of platform. biggrin.gif

Hi, I'm using duckdns for DDNS and it seems not supported by ASUS XT8. Is there a way to do this setting manually? Can we edit some settings in the router through ssh?
