HI. I am interested to use VPN (example, ExpressVPN or one of those service) on a router that have DD-WRT and on TM Unifi. May I ask:

1. Does Asus have a router with DD-WRT pre-installed and running OpenVPN.

2. Which model Asus router should I be looking at.

Hi. Printer hooked to Asus router's USB. Laptop linked to Asus router by Wifi. May I ask, how to print from laptop to this printer? Thanks

I have 3 computer. One setup flawlessly.

The other 2 have problem.
One can set up but can't print.
The other can't even detect the printer.
Any advise?

Yes, I have install the printer driver on computer first before installing the Asus driver.

On one computer, it can detect the printer but can't print.

On the other, it can't even detect the printer.

HI. Supposed to be getting 800Mbps but only 300 Mbps instead.

After I disable the anti-virus etc and rebooting, can now get about 700+ Mbps.

Now I would like to ask, what is the maximum WiFi download speed with that setup?

With Asus AC68U. Unifi 800 Mbps, more like 700 Mbps. Wifi using 5Ghz. Samsung Note 8 placed next to the router only gives me about 200 Mbps.

Is that normal?

I have an Asus AC68 (latest firmware) and want to link a printer and having this problem.
1. I connect printer to Router via USB.
2. I log into router 192.168.1.1
3. Go to USB application, download the file. But when I want to run it, I keep getting this error. "to continue installation, you have to reboot your pc to complete the uninstall process first".

What uninstall is that about? I have reboot the pc and router numerous times and still same problem.

Anyone having any idea what went wrong? Thanks

Got an ASUS RT-AC68U. I can get internet on cable. But, all of a sudden, there are no Wifi. Smartphone can't detect any SSID either. May I know how to solve this?

I have a ASUS RT-AC68U. I hook up a printer to the router. Downloaded Printer application from Asus. When I run this application, I got this message "To continue installation, you have to reboot your PC to complete the uninstall process first".

I have rebooted but same problem. I look into my installed program on my computer and there is no program with the name Asus anywhere. So what's next?

I already have the printer linked to computer using USB and printing OK. So I suppose the driver is already installed?

What I wanted to change now is, instead of linking the printer to computer, I want to link the printer to the Asus router.

I have a AC68, Malaysian set. One day I decided to factory reset. Then put in log into Unifi and nothing works. No internet whatsoever. What's next?

When I first log into the Asus, there is an option for Unifi. I selected that

I have an ASUS RT AC68U. When I connect the Ethernet cable to it, only #3 port got internet connection. What's the reason?

Have already rebooted.
Firmware 3.0.0.4.386_41634
LAN port LED #1 & # 2 light not on.
Only Port #3 is working.

My Asus RT68U has just died on me. What would you people recommend for replacement? And does router choice affects VPN speed? Unifi 800Mbps package. Thanks
