will there be any chances for Asus to fixed the firmware version checking for RT-N66U ?
cause after pressing the "CHECK" button , it says downloading with no status at all , don't know if the router is dead or hang or whatever it is doing .... ?

Just flash new firmware for N66U again , and seems like my RT-N12 cannot connect to RT-N66U .. need to do a hard reset in order to get it work ...

Hi tiensheng,

Let me know if you still face problem with the new firmware, and the the new firmware require you to a factory reset after update. Maybe that's why you unable to connect to it.

Thank you

factory reset on both RT-N66U and RT-N12 after firmware upgrading !
change the "Control Channel" from default 6 to 11 .... looks good now ~

My RT-N66U lasted 260 days and dead yesterday. Off and On there is no power on the unit. I sent for warranty , and time needed for warranty is 4 - 6 weeks.

need to get another unit of router for use during this 4 - 6 weeks time.
