Hi,
may I ask whats the problem with my ASUS RT-N12HP B1 router. I'm on UNIFI 30mbps. Used LAN Cable i get constant 30 - 32mbps but when use wifi and only placed next to the router like 1.5m away only getting 9 - 15mbps, why ahhhh?
Need to upgrade my router? or setting problem? BTW my house got like 8 or 9 devices connected at night, But when I did the test i changed the wifi password so only 1 device is connected to test also on latest firmware from asus support site.
Please help.
THANKS!

QUOTE(strafez @ Apr 14 2016, 04:51 PM) Wow, thanks bro! will try out later and hope this solves my problem. Hi, I've tried out using the inSSIDer Home software to check, seems not congested. But how come my neighbours got Max Rate of 300 but I only get Max Rate of 144? Please assist Thanks! ** Ok, my bad just asked google, Its my wireless adapter max speed at 150mbps. But still doesn't make sense when I speed test its only 10ish mbps but LAN cable it can go max at 30mbps. This post has been edited by strafez: Apr 14 2016, 07:15 PM

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Apr 15 2016, 10:34 AM) Wireless N 2.4Ghz is very congested nowadays with a lot of interference. You can try to stand closer to your router and see if there's any improvements. Oh I did some research and found out I just need to set the channel bandwidth to 40 mhz and now I got 300 tx rate lol

Hi All, I'm having exactly this issue quoted below but its on my RT-N12HP B1 renewing lease...... expired., as I've upgraded my router to ac86u I moved this to my rental unit and now having this issue, once i swapped back to the TM router the internet works fine. Any Pros here could help me out pls? Thank you very much! QUOTE(mingxhin @ Apr 10 2015, 06:44 PM) Hi ASUSmy, I am facing the same issue using ASUS RT-N18U. During the initial setup connected via LAN cable, after entering Unifi username and password I got the same error "Server not found". I followed the steps provided, skip to manual setup and also updated to the latest firmware FW_RT_N18U_30043763754, but still have no Internet access, even though the Network Map page show internet status as connected but notice the lease time is stuck at renewing and lease expires is expired. I revert back to use TM router and no problems connecting to the Internet. Please help. Thanks. [attachmentid=4406198]

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Nov 7 2018, 10:16 AM) Hi strafez, Please double check the UNIFI account user name and password are correct. Do a factory reset and redo the setup. And try go to the WAN->Internet Connection-> MAC Address click on the MAC Clone button then apply. If the problem still persist, please PM me your system log and setting file to me. Thank you Hi, Thank you very much, will try this weekend.
