QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 2 2016, 04:21 PM) Get it from Asus site. Yes, factory reset is encouraged as this is a rather significant upgrade over the previous firmware. I only found ASUS RT-AC55UHP Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.5209 2015/04/20 from Asus MY website. I don't think this is the latest one. Please advice. |

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Nov 14 2016, 06:25 PM) Hi prs516, I'm currently using Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.378_5209.May I know what is the current firmware version of your router? You can use some software such as Inssider or NetSpot to scan the wireless channel around you. Then choose the channel that is less people use and fix the channel in the router unser control channel. Thank you Please advice. |

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Jan 17 2017, 10:35 AM) Hi prs516, I'm using the latest firmware now. I'll try to factory reset later and see if the problem still persist. You can try updating the firmware to the latest, do a factory reset if still show same result. If the LED still unable to on, then it is most probably is the LED light problem. You can send back to the place you bought for the warranty claim. Thank you |

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Aug 8 2017, 03:46 PM) Hi hiroka88, ASUSmyYou can try skip the setup first. Click on the "Back main page" or "Skip Setup Wizard" on top left. Follow the instruction and you will go to the main page. The below link will teach you how to do the firmware update. https://www.asus.com/Microsite/2015/network...irmware_update/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyzd5h-wTYk Thank you I just got my free unifi upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps. Now im using Asus RT-AC55UHP. When i test my 5GHz wifi connection i can only get around 20-30Mbps download but can get 50Mbps upload. Only 1 device is connected when i run my speedtest. I tried factory reset my router and set it new but will get error that my password is wrong. This error is false because i can use the same username and password to connect to other router that TM provide to me to test my speed without any problem. I also can get 100Mbps download & 50Mbps upload using the router that TM provided to me. Please advice. Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.380_4180 This post has been edited by prs516: Aug 8 2017, 07:21 PM |

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Aug 9 2017, 03:19 PM) Hi prs516, I just received new replacement RT-AC55UHP router from Asus. I'm using Unifi 100Mbps. When using speedtest via LAN i can get around 103Mbps down & 52Mbps up. But when connected using 5GHz wifi with only 1 device i can only manage to get around 24Mbps down 43Mbps up. I have tested using multiple speedtest server and restart my router and my BTU several times but still got the same result. QOS is disabled. My Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.380_4180. Please advice.Under the WAN section, can you try click on the MAC clone and see whether the connection is establish. If you confirm the user name and password is correct, maybe you can try ask the TM side to help refresh your port. Thank you |

QUOTE(jusbella @ Aug 30 2017, 08:28 AM) Maybe ur surrounding got 5GHz wireless interference. U might try change channel 1 by 1 to see which is the best you can get. I don't think so. I'm the only one using 5GHz frequency around my area. I've check it using wifi analyzer app. Using TM provided router(connected via wifi 5GHz) i can get around 105Mbps down 54 Mbps up without any problem even with other devices connected. |

QUOTE(ideaplus @ Aug 27 2021, 01:02 AM) Actually not, since I was suffered stock firmware previously until you all come out with this beta firmware. This beta firmware was fine all along until I discovered some connection issues. So I take a look in the system log. Anyhow, can you confirm the latest firmware of AX56U is problem-free? I would also like to know the answer of this question as I'm still using beta firmware without any problem. |
