Hi preducer,

Can you try update the firmware to the latest and can you provide the IPv6 log from the System Log->IPv6.

See that you can get an IPv6 WAN IP or not.

Thank you
*

Thanx...the problem is when i checked using speedtest my download speed never go beyond 20mbps but tm told me that they have already upgraded it to 30mbps. I've rebooted btu & router but still the same. How to check if the bandwidth bottleneck at router? How to rectify it?
*
have u tried doing speedtest via lan? same thing happened to me, lan full 30mbps but on wifi if the signal isnt so strong the speed will be slightly lower 20 ish

Hi preducer,

May I ask, have you do a factory reset on the router after the update? If yes, please help show the log for the IPv6.

And is the IPv6 working with previous firmware?

Do you mind try downgrade the firmware to 3.0.0.4.376.3754 and try again.

If still cannot, can you check with TM is your area already have IPv6?

Thank you
*
1. updated to latest firmware
2. factory reset after updating
3. didnt try ipv6 with prev firmware
4. if i want to downgrade, can i just flash the prev firmware just like that?
5. will get back to you with the ipv6 log.

How that u came to that conclusion? TM assured me that my speed upgraded & there's nothing wrong on their side. So i have no proof that its their fault. Is there possibility that the bandwidth bottleneck at router?..coz the speed consistently does not reached more than 20mbps. How to check?

It seen like you already got the IPv6 WAN IP.

Can you go to the below link to test the IPv6 and let us know the result?

Thank you

Can you provide me a screen shoot of the test result? Summary and the Test Run.

So that we can know what is the root cause?

Hi preducer,

The testing result that you get from the http://test-ipv6.com/ are using your PC?

Is your MAC also getting the same result when test for the IPv6?

Thank you
*
yes same results for both PC and MAC, i tried reverting back to previous firmware also gave me the same results. i still have no idea why IPv6 is not working.

Hi aneip,

Do you mind share what kind of error you found on the web GUI. And will it be showing the same problem if use LAN cable to access the web GUI?

And do try to update the firmware to the latest. And you will need to do a factory reset after the update.

Thank you

is this beta firmware ?

I got the new RT-AC88U.
I followed Blacktubi website instructions to set up as wireless router, connected to Unifi modem.  http://www.blacktubi.com/unifi/setup-asus-router-for-unifi/

But i keep getting timeout message.

I tested the same steps for existing DLink router, and it worked.

Appreciate any help.

skip this setup.. go to WAN page and set up your unifi username/password. please check also under LAN, go to IPTV tab and choose Unifi-Home
