Hello there,

I have a RT-68U and the Lan port no. 4 does not seem to be working. The Led lights is on but any devices connected to this port could not access the internet or local network. I have tried a few different devices eg PS 4, Synology NAS, and even the smart TV, all of which coould not access the newtrok. I have tried to use diffrent cables as well, but they are failed to join the network. However, if change to different port, they all can join connect to the network.

Any assistance that you could offer. By the way, the router is still under warranty. But I am think to try to solve this problem first rather than RMA.

Thank you

I am also eagerly waiting for AX86U since my China AC86U dead. I like the design as to me it is space saving. Most likely will go for local unit. Worry on the warranty claim

Yup. Only Lan Port No. 4 lighted. Bought from Gearbest and they could not assist on the RMA process. Any indications as to what will be the local price for AX86U?

Hi.

I am using a RT-AC59U ver. 2 as one of my nodes and thinking of an upgrade. One of the features (or setbacks) of this router/node is that this node does not have wireless scheduling. As long as it is connected to the main router, it will broadcast wifi, even though the main router is not broadcasting any wifi.

I understand that RT-AX53U's firmware has been updated to include Aimesh. Would it have the features like ethernet backhaul and wireless scheduling?

Thanks

Hi peguin78,

May I know what is the AiMesh main router are you using?

And yes, the RT-AX53U are able to support Ethernet backhaul and wireless scheduling.

Thank you

Thank you for your response.

I am using RT-AX86U as the main router. The other node is AX-Mini XD4.

Actually I was hoping that RT-AX53U would not able to support wireless scheduling. I am running all my internet equipment on DC solar power and there are times that I just need the main router to stop broadcasting and another node to be on and provide the wireless services. If I use the AX53U as an access point, I would loose it as a node. However, thank you again for you reply.

I am surprised that one of my nodes - RT-AC59U Version 2 received a firmware update. Unfortunately the new firmware now comes with wireless scheduler which I dont need and I have rolled back to the previous firmware. It would be nice if Asus can come up with a way to individually control a node.

The next update that I am waiting will be for Zenwifi AX mini. Any head ups?

Been using AX86U for almost 3 years now. AC86U before that, still holding on to it for backup.

Will there be upcoming wifi 7 successor for AX86U? I got used to its form factor already, 'standing' type.

Mee too. I am also used to the form factor. I have been using the AX86U for more than 3 years already. Before that AC68U and AC86U. Not thinking to upgrade to AX-86U pro. Probably waiting for "BE86U"?

Hi cHiLdHo0drEaMz,

There is delay on the shipment, the shipment are estimated to arrive next Monday. So by next week you should be able to get it from LAZADA/Shopee/dealer store(If there is no more delay).

Thank you

@cHiLdHo0drEaM. Please let me know when you have bought one. I need to know whether Malaysian version is using 12v or 19v adapter.

Thanks.
