Does antenna orientation matter? Now I’m waiting for the RT-AC66U to arrive.

I'm happy with the performance, so I didn't bother about this since I got my unit for more than a year now. Gotta try to adjust the antennas tonight and see whether it makes any difference laugh.gif

AX86U also need to use fan eh? I thought it runs cooler than AC86U

I plan to get AX86U to complement my AC86U (with fan) and stumble upon your reply.

Just had extra fan so stick it on at the back... make it cooler, maybe not necessary.

But AC86U seems better with fan thou  icon_rolleyes.gif

Been using AX86U for almost 3 years now. AC86U before that, still holding on to it for backup.

Will there be upcoming wifi 7 successor for AX86U? I got used to its form factor already, 'standing' type.

Mee too.  I am also used to the form factor. I have been using the AX86U for more than 3 years already. Before that AC68U and AC86U. Not thinking to upgrade to AX-86U pro. Probably waiting for "BE86U"?

Current AX86U fits my usage so far. Thought of using the older AC86U as Aimesh partner but the AX86U can cover the whole house so the latter is now unused. House also not so big.

Just wondering how the next one will look like. Also glad to have another user who's looking forward for the same biggrin.gif

Generally Broadcom models are rock solid stable

That's why they are more expensive and getting more and more expensive  tongue.gif
