Hey guys, from what I read here, the ASUS router (ASUS RT-N12HP) doesn't support Astro IPTV yet...
So, I thought ok, I'll just connect the Astro to the Maxis router and then connect the Maxis router to the Asus router with the Asus router on AP mode.
But how do I set this up? If I just connect Ethernet cable to the WAN port of the Asus router it doesn't work.
Or if anyone know how to set it up such that Astro IPTV works and that I can use the Asus router as well, that will be great too.

Hey there on Asus RT-N12HP B1, using manual setting, LAN port 3 & 4 have to be used for IPTV/VoIP?
I can't use the ports for anything else? Is it possible to make port 3 available for ethernet connection to a PC?

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Oct 17 2016, 11:55 AM) Hi hahli9, If your ISP is UNIFI, the LAN port 4 will fixed to support HyppTV for ISP profile UNIFI-Home. You can use LAN port 1,2 and 3 for other devices. If you don't use HyppTV, you can select UNIFI-Business where you can use all to the LAN port normally. Thank you I am using Maxis fibre with TM modem > Asus router. The only configuration that works for me is Manual settings with VID 621 for internet, port 4 VID 823 for Astro IPTV, and I don't need port 3 for anything special but it seems like with Manual config you can't use port 3 normally? QUOTE(karyeowl @ Oct 18 2016, 12:17 PM) Can you actually get astro iptv using ASUS router? @ASUSmy - is your Astro IPTV ready?? Yep it works fine for me with those settings. I think had to enable multicast routing but don't quote me on that.
