hi asus, recently i bought a new RT-AX55, and went thru the setup for my unifi home. Everything works fine, except for the hypptv. I tried selecting the preset "unifi home", "unifi business", both also doesn't seems to work. I also tried manual vlan id 600, and still doesn't seems to work, can you assist me on the mentioned matter?

hi guys, i am using a AX-55 in a double storey house. The router is position on the 2nd floor and 2nd floor is covered well for both 5g and 2.4g.
However downstairs is quite weak for certain devices for both 5g as well as 2.4g, so i am thinking of doing mesh. i think in my case, maybe 1 or 2 satellite will able to solve my problem already, just that i'm curious what is the cheapest way for me to achieve that ?

Hi Asus, I recently bought TUF AX4200 and facing speed limited issue. I am on Unifi 500mbps package. Previously when I was using Asus AX1800 HP and everything was fine, but after I changed to TUF AX4200, my speed is limited to 100mbps. Tried switching it back to AX1800 HP and everything is running fine, any idea what could be the problem?
edit : checked the fw it is running the latest

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 13 2024, 05:42 PM) Check your LAN cable, ASUS is very sensitive on the LAN cable quality Try to use a better LAN cable i tried using the given lan cable from the box direct to router also same issue, really scratching my head already same cable works well on AX1800 HP tho, maybe worse case scenario I'll go buy another cable to test it out what i noticed a bit weird is that, on ax1800 hp vs ax4200, assigned ip range seems a lil diff from tm, not sure is it placebo

QUOTE(Omochao @ Sep 13 2024, 08:28 PM) is it the QoS settings ? or airtime fairness or some sort ? QoS was off by default when running the test. Tried turning it on and set to respective speed, however also no avail. not sure if its airtime fairness, but both wired and wireless also seems affected at this moment QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 13 2024, 10:24 PM) Try to enable QoS on the TUF-AX4200 and set the speed correctly QoS was off by default when running the test. Tried turning it on and set to respective speed, however also no avail. tried to look at every individual settings and compared against my AX1800 HP, it seems almost identical and still couldn't find out what is the culprit

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 15 2024, 11:04 PM) ASUS Router app will let you to see the port speed of your WAN port Check that as well QUOTE(Omochao @ Sep 17 2024, 09:55 AM) Then you might need to narrow it down, make sure both ethernet cables are still functioning as per usual. From your ISP ont to the router, must be 1Gbps rated. As per blacktubi mentioned, check on the router page or app to see if the port is working on WAN and showing as 1Gbps. From there, plug in your PC/laptop to the router LAN ports and check if is showing up as 1Gbps on the connection settings. If you still manage to hit 1Gbps from the router to your PC/laptop. High chances the fault lies with either your Wireless settings, or you mistakenly connected to 2.4Ghz without notice. And it could be your ethernet from WAN side is busted. thanks guys, manage to get it resolved already, it was the cable between BTU to router, swapped around a few unlabelled cables and finally gotten 1 to get it to run at 1Gbps and manage to get full speed

hi guys, so my problem came back to plague me again
So after a while, my TUF AX4200 suddenly 2.5g port is limited to 100mbps again with the same setup, while my AX1800 HP is able to maintain 1gbps without issue, tried swapping around with a few cables and not able to solve the problem.
What i noticed on the TUF AX4200 is, when i unplug and replug the lan cable from BTU to WAN, it will first showing 1gbps, but after a while, it will dropped to 100mbps.
I'm running out of ideas, any suggestion what else i can try?
