if set up asus ac 86 mesh using the ethernet cable from the primary router, are we still able to use to remaining lan port as as normal on the "node router" (not the primary router) as there is 4 port for each router? will the speed be affected or it will have the same speed as using lan from the same primary router? thanks.

Would like to seek for some advice on which to choose. Was looking around for a new router. Ac 86u vs ax3000. Both look the same apart from WiFi 6 only. Notice that ax is slightly cheaper also compare to 86u. TQ.

Have this problem where 2.4ghz keep disconnect and will reconnect by itself on AC86U router but no issue with 5ghz. happen like 5-6 times throughout the day and is usually like 8-10pm. so, i replace with my old router to test it, and seem to be okay without issue. So, not sure if it is a setting issue or the hardware issue. got any thing to solve this? tq.

Ac86u keep getting disconnected and reconnect by itself after update. Both 2.4 and 5ghz also same problem. Had done factory reset once. any solution for this? TQ.

Anyone router recomendation for 800mbps? Ax3000 price okay but seem to have some rebooting issue... Whereas Ax88 is bit off budget. Wonder when ax86 will release in Malaysia. TQ.

Hi, possible for lan 4 port (unifi tv) be used as a normal lan port on asus router? If can, what setting should i make/ how to do it? coz i dont use the unifi tv at all at the moment. Thanks.

planning to invest in ax3000 (2 units) to used as main and node for ai mesh, would like to know can wifi from the node get full speed if use wired backhaul between the two router? what is the max speed it can go up to for 800mbps user? thanks lot.

Just upgraded all device to the latest firmware but no pop up screen when i click on the bedroom button for my ac86 node? unlike my other node (ax3000), there will be pop up screen where i could choose which type of connection setting. Any solution ?(pic for reference)

Using ai mesh via backhaul ethernet connection, however frequently having red light on the node. Main router is working fine. Any solution?
Both main router and node are Asus AX3000 and firmware are both latest. |

Hi asus, im facing issue to update both my rt-ax3000 to3.0.0.4.388_23925. tried both via app and web. it will eventually still go back to 924 version. kindly advise pls.
