no direct Asus centre? bring to shop sked the fler take long time
*
That's assuming the shop wants to do it for you. What if they chuck it at the side and after 2 weeks return to you saying nothing wrong?

I not sure where is ASUS router service center. But I know the online seller shop. It had at least 2 branch in PJ. so I just go there and claim for the warranty. who knows it took 3 month still not able to fix it.....

ASUSmy May I know where can I sent to service it? I just had the online receipt only is it ok to claim the warranty with it?
*
That was my concern regarding Asus router as well, you never know when it will be fixed if send back to the online seller shop. They may just put it at the corner instead of sending it to Asus.

Like my case of ac88u, instead of sending back to the online seller, I called the service center directly, told me will get back to me in 3 working days, but that was February, till now I haven't heard of anything.

My ac88u finally died. Such an expensive but unreliable router.

Hi Susuwatari,

Sorry on what happened to your router, do you mind share what is the router problem?

Thank you
*
Hi there, the same problem of 2.4Ghz wifi crashing or disappearing that I reported to you guys but no one was able to help me other than keep asking me to flash a new firmware. Grapple with that problem for months and thank God it died finally, at least I can go for RMA. But what's up with the long wait (3 weeks)?

Hi Susuwatari,

Has you send the router to warranty and where do you send it?

Thank you
*
Sent it to Advancenet Puchong, was told it takes 3 weeks. Shouldn't this be 1 to 1 exchange?

Hi Susuwatari,

We are sorry for the delay, will check with Advancenet for stock availability and alternative solution and get back to you ASAP.

Thank you
*
What alternative solution can you give? I am going to have no internet for almost a month while still paying the bill. I am the first batch unifi user so the stock router is long gone.

similar case with me. but on ethernet. suspect chipset issues. i just do RMA. but you need to open tac case first.
*
Similar to my ac88u, so the issue doesn't only affect the high end model.

Hi cHiLdHo0drEaMz,

We are estimating around end of September 2024 for the RT-BE86U, as for the GT-BE19000, we don't have the exact date yet.

Thank you

What about BE88U ?

My AC88U's wifi gone after few months, had to RMA. My current ET12 has a faulty Ethernet port after a month, wanted to RMA but really no time and we are working from home, the whole house depends on the mesh. Quite disappointed with the quality even at such a high price.

Are you using Unifi/Maxis?

The default VLAN profile will block 1 port
*
Ah, yes, using Unifi, was not told by the technical support about that. Thanks mate! Anyway to bypass the block?

Change the IPTV profile to Unifi-Business will solve it
*
Oh, I have been using Unifi Business profile all these while. So likely still a hardware issue. I remember initially I could use both ports, it only stopped working after a month or so.

Hi, I recently purchased a pair of ASUS XT8 ZenWiFi devices from lazada and set them up—one as the router and the other as a mesh node. While most things are working fine, I’ve encountered an issue with the router unit: LAN Port 3 isn’t functioning at all.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Checked the physical connection to ensure the cable is securely plugged in.
Tested the same cable and device on other LAN ports (they work fine).
The other LAN ports on the router work as expected. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue or has suggestions on troubleshooting this further.
*
You mean one of the 1Gbps port is not working?

Yup, I also tried upgrading the firmware but it's still not working

Same for me, mine is ET12. Tried both custom and Unifi business profile but still not working.
