Full speed over LAN, still possible on WiFi but it will fall off once the signal is a bit weaker.
To be frank, you need the latest phones or laptops to even get 500Mbps over WiFi.
I see. Then I suppose it should be no problem for me. Even though if the wifi speed is compromised, like half of the speed, it still sufficient enough for my family usage.
Q1: It is a printing error. The 5GHz on the RT-AC1300UHP can achieve at least 800Mbps.
Q2: As I explained above, it is a printing error.
Speaking of this, most of the spec details in Asus Malaysia website are wrong. Not sure why they never rectify them. I had to go to the global website instead to check the details.
or you mean there's a specific Malaysian model for TUF-AX4200 that have higher performance than non-Malaysian model (ie Aus)? Mine also from Aus
It's from australia, but still, made in China. One thing for sure, it's Malaysia model since it's certified by MCMC.
Btw, Malaysia model is either coming from Australia or Taiwan. I knew this because all my previous routers were Asus brand. As long as your Asus router is coming from either these 2 countries, then you are all good. I do prefer Taiwan model (Asus HQ), but it's up to Asus Malaysia to decide which model they want to bring in.
Anyway, it's easy to differentiate the China grey import model and official Malaysia model. The China grey import model box description would be in Chinese words. The model name is TUF-AX4200Q. Also, China model design and color is a bit different and got one more extra 2.5g lan port.
The link below is the review of China model (if you can read chinese)
Same place lol I'm wondering if should return it or not since same speed as you
belum press confirm at Lazada app yet
I also bought from the same place. Since both of you are having the same situation, then I don't think the product got problem. What's the odd of having 2 new routers having problem DOA? Most likely it's the setting, or Unifi itself got issue due to recent free upgrade/SWU/etc.
I have not yet setup mine because i am lazy to switch over.
