Hi Avatar1975,

Should be no problem with 2 storey house, you can refer to the link below for the chart on our router to get more information on benchmarking.

Hi Asusmy

i just bought a Asus RT AC66U, the 5GHz coverage is still weak in my room.

i am stay in double story house, i put the asus ac66u at living hall and my room at up stair. blocked by 2 thick wall.

the coverage of 2.4GHz in my room is good almost full bar, the coverage of 5GHz in my room max 1 bar, sometime unable to detect.

anywhere to improve this condition? if i change longer antenna will help?

hi Asusmy

would like to ask you, the RP-N53, is this repeater can receive and release both 2.4 and 5.0 concurrently?

i am using Asus RT-AC66U now, but upstair corner having wifi unstable sometime, would like to add another repeater to enhance the wifi signal. is hard to setup if using RP-N53 and whether the speed will reduce if i using repeater?

Hi Avatar1975,

Yes it do support UNIFI.

Has you try updating the firmware on the RT-AC5300?

You can try using the firmware restoration method too, to see whether it can solve your 2.4GHz problem.

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1000814/

Do send to for warranty claim if still cannot scan the 2.4GHz.

Thank you

Oh really? Luckily I bought a Malaysia set. If bought from Taobao, money burnt in just a month.
