Did u tried to clean the disc drive via alcohol cleaning kit? I have a problematic disc (Nike+ Kinect) and to me it looks more like the way some game disc manufactured mighy give such error....

Added on January 1, 2013, 3:01 pmJust realized a rough edge on disc will also cause problem. You may try smooth the inner & outer edge of problematic disc by rubbing the edge with a wooden pencil
