As the title said, a trimmer version of the its slim brother:

The disc tray is mounted on top rather than the front just like the ps1 and ps2

Maximum hdd size is 500gb.

The controllers are the same which is the DS3 (wireless) and has a built in hdmi.

My suggestion is go for the latest one which is the super slim, while many didn't like the top loader because it looks a bit clunky but I think it will be just fine. And of course the large hdd space is a big plus. But if you want to buy the slim version is also alright ( I own one ). Just make sure u have the warranty in case the console encounters some problems.

Hmm , my ps3 is lagging quite badly recently especially when playing games that are from psn. I'm hoping that the hdd is not dying . If it's , can suggest any decent brand of external hdd to transfer the data? So that i can perform the formatting. And how to make the external hdd into fat32? Cheers

hi there, the sticker is generally a good indicator to identify whether your controller is legit. Though be aware that if you have a different serial number at the back controller like CECHZC2U or CHECHZC2H A1 it doesn't mean you have a fake controller.

Just watch out for the pricing (usually a new DS3 would cost rm 150 , other than that try and buy from authorized dealers if u ever feel in doubt.

1) Yes you can , no u dont have to create a new one, if your psn account is already sync with the trophies then you're good to go with a new PS3.

2) Yep its gone but it should be available for download in the PS store for which the account it's tied in.

3) Just go for the latest hardware, the super slim that is.
