hi all....

just a typical lady who do not know anything about car. I have a old car myvi is about 6.5 years now. Find that the gearbox is having problem now, as it cannot be do the reverse gear... after the checking from the workshop found that it cannot be repair anymore and need to do changing on it.

since is the old car so i just need 2nd hand gearbox to be replace,but due to i totally not familiar with any car stuff, just wanted to check here if anyone experienced it before and can tell me roughly how much i should fork out in order to get it change?

just wanted to get more comment and price comparison before doing it.

erm erm... good question.
i am quite noob for car, but still do regular check up for the maintenance, so if they tell me need to change the gearbox oil i will usually do (the problem is i dont recall what i did for car).

yeaa... i guess i am the unlucky one....
