Hi there, Does anyone know how to block ppstream using unifi router ?

There was a previous thread on this topic but the TS was using a TPlink router.

Maybe you could go thru the suggested ports and see if it works.

If u are using unifi D-link DIR615, u can log in to the web configuration, then go to advanced and then filter rules. Just add the port numbers that is used by pps from the link. Hope u get it.

some time if u block p2p, they will find other solution such as direct download or what..
download p2p over..
they wont find out 1.
limit their speed.
when they ask, why slow.. u say normal..

What shelby_yong mentioned is valid as there is always a "way" smile.gif

Issue the staff a company internet usage policy with HR help and mentioned disciplinary action would be taken against staff abusing internet usage for NON business usage.

Some tp link has integrated bandwidth control

I got use one, set almost all lan ip address limited download and upload, leave few ip for urself for full speed. No matter what he try to do, the speed always limited lolololol

 

Change to:
